Peaky Blinders Season 6 Episode 2 will bring back familiar foes, according to the preview. The teaser for the next episode shows big changes are ahead for Thomas Shelby and Shelby Company Limited. Additionally, it seems Oswald Mosley is back in action. At the end of Peaky Blinders Season 5, Tommy’s plan to assassinate Mosley was foiled, so he will meet his foe again. The beginning of the new season revealed the IRA was behind the foiled plot.

“My organization is changing,” Tommy says in the teaser. “And I will have no limitations.”

Then, scenes from a rally hosted by Mosley play. And another scene flashes seemingly showing Tommy (or possibly Arthur Shelby) in a physical altercation with someone “You’re still looking for trouble big enough to kill you,” a voiceover of a woman says. “I think you might have found it.”

Fans suspect Ruby Shelby dies in episode 2

Fans suspect tragedy awaits Thomas Shelby in Peaky Blinders Season 6 Episode 2. In episode 1, Lizzie Shelby alerted Tommy that his young daughter, Ruby, had fallen ill. Digital Spy notes Ruby had a worrying fever and cough, preventing her and Lizzie from boarding a ship to Canada.

While Tommy didn’t seem too concerned at first, Lizzie then told him Ruby was having visions of “a man with green eyes.” Additionally, Ruby muttered the words, “Tikno mora o beng.” This alerted Tommy to more danger and potential tragedy.

“It’s difficult to translate from the Romani, but it means ‘devil,'” show creator Steven Knight told Digital Spy. “It means a bit more than that, but yeah. So it’s not good. It’s not a good thing.”

These events, as well as the synopsis for episode 3 of the season, have fans thinking Ruby dies. Reddit users note episode 3 has Tommy facing “devasting news” that causes him to travel “on a quest to discover who it was that placed a curse on his family.”

“So, does this mean Ruby will die, hence Tommy takes leave from the company for a while, hence Ada taking over?” a Reddit user guessed.

“Devastating news,” another fan noted. “Yup, Ruby dies next episode or at the beginning of the third.”

If Ruby dies in Peaky Blinders Season 6 Episode 2, fans believe they know exactly who put a curse on the little girl. When John Shelby died, his wife, Esme, cursed the Shelby family. The trailer for season 6 shows Esme returns after a long hiatus away. We imagine episode 3 will involve Thomas Shelby tracking down Esme for the curse she brought upon his family.

“In the last season, when the Billy Boys killed Bonnie Gold, Aberama went after johnny Dogs because only he ‘and his kin’ knew where they were camped,” a Reddit user noted. “We know that Johnny Dogs and Esme are kin. In Esme’s final scene in the morgue, as Tommy and Arthur left, she said, ‘No peace for either of you.'”
