When is ‘Peaky Blinders’ Season 6 coming to Netflix?

Peaky Blinders Season 6 follows Thomas Shelby after his failed assassination attempt on Oswald Mosley in season 5. Someone foiled Tommy’s plot — and he finds out who’s working against him in the final season. Additionally, fans learn what happens to Aunt Polly Gray, and we learn whether Michael and Gina Gray will become new, formidable foes against Shelby Company Limited.

The final season started airing on BBC one on Feb. 27, 2022. But U.S. fans knew they had a while to wait. The British television series always starts on the BBC Network before Netflix has it available to stream. And it’s typical for Netflix to wait to stream the season until after every episode airs in the U.K.

So, when is Peaky Blinders Season 6 coming to Netflix? According to TVLine, Netflix will drop the final season on June 10, 2022, for U.S. fans to stream.

How many episodes does ‘Peaky Blinders’ Season 6 have?

Season 6 has six episodes in total. The current trajectory puts the season finale on April 3 for those watching in the U.K. This means U.S. streamers waiting for Peaky Blinders Season 6 to hit Netflix will have to wait over two months after the finale first airs.

The season finale will reportedly be “feature-length.” An article cited by Reddit notes, ” … this stage of the story will now wrap up over six episodes, including a feature-length finale.” A Reddit user then suggested that that typically means 90 minutes for the BBC.

While a 90-minute finale will wrap up the season, fans can still look forward to a film. Show creator Steven Knight told Variety that a movie about the Shelby family will start production in 2023. “And then I am going to write the feature which will be set in and shot in Birmingham,” Knight also said at a BFI London Film Festival panel “And that will probably be the sort of the end of the road for Peaky Blinders as we know it.”

Fans not waiting for Peaky Blinders Season 6 to arrive on Netflix can gear up for episode 3. Reddit reports the synopsis for the third episode of the season reads, “Faced with devastating news, Tommy goes on a quest to discover who it was that placed a curse on his family. In Birmingham, Ada takes charge, and Arthur takes on some new recruits.

The first episode focused on Thomas Shelby heading to the U.S. and talking to Gina Shelby about business. And episode 2 focused more on Tommy’s daughter, Ruby, who’s terribly ill. At the end of episode 2, Tommy calls Esme Shelby-Lee, John Shelby’s wife who left town after John’s death. Fans likely remember that Esme cursed the Shelby family before she left, which might serve as the reason behind Ruby’s illness.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 Episode 3 airs Sunday, March 13, on BBC One.
