‘Peaky Blinders’ Season 6 Official Release Date Reportedly Here, but Fans Still Have to Wait Weeks
Fans excited to get back to the Shelby family for Peaky Blinders Season 6 won’t have to wait too much longer. Sources now give the date and time for the Peaky Blinders Season 6 premiere happening in February 2022. Unfortunately, it’ll still be a few weeks before Thomas Shelby and the rest of Shelby Company Limited grace screens for the final season.
When is the ‘Peaky Blinders’ Season 6 release date?
It seems fans finally have a Peaky Blinders Season 6 release date. According to RadioTimes.com, Anthony Byrne, the director of the season, revealed to The Sunday Times that Peaky Blinders Season 6 premieres on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. However, the BBC has yet to confirm this date.
While the BBC hasn’t said for sure when fans will get the new season, the date given by Byrne falls in line with the teasers and what fans are expecting. Newcomer Conrad Khan teased a February 2022 release date as well. “That comes out, from what I last heard – I mean, these things change so quickly – I think that will come out next February, the beginning of next year,” Khan said.
A fan on Reddit also noticed the season 6 premiere date in their TV Guide. According to the guide, the new episode does, indeed, air on Feb. 27, 2022.

Along with the Peaky Blinders Season 6 release date, fans get to see new images of the Shelby family. RadioTimes.com shared sneak peeks at what Cillian Murphy’s Thomas Shelby will look like in season 6. At the end of season 5, Tommy placed a gun to his head after his failed attempt at assassinating Oswald Mosley. But it seems he’s alive in the new season, as photos from the publication show him sitting at a bar and talking to others near him.
New images also show Anya Taylor-Joy reprising her role as Gina Gray. Gina and Michael Gray might’ve been the ones to betray Tommy in season 5, and her family will certainly come into play in the new season.
Another photo shows Arthur Shelby and Ada Shelby. Arthur looks worn out as he’s sitting in front of Ada in a Santa Claus suit. Ada has her hand on Arthur’s shoulder as if to console him.
Finally, we see Charlene McKenna reprising her role as Captain Swing. It seems she’ll have a bigger role this season, too.
When will ‘Peaky Blinders’ Season 6 go to Netflix? Some fans guess it could be awhile
While Peaky Blinders Season 6 releases in the U.K. in February 2022, such is not the case for fans in the U.S. So, when does Peaky Blinders Season 6 release on Netflix in the states?
Netflix hasn’t given any indication of when the new season will come. But fans on Reddit think it’ll release months after the initial premiere.
“The final episode on air will be April 3rd,” a fan on Reddit guessed. “Netflix should get it by mid-April.”
Another fan on Reddit guessed April 10, 2022, is when Netflix users in the U.S. will see it. “[Tenth of] April for other countries, 10th October for U.K. Netflix,” the fan approximated.
