Power Book IV: Force has had many big and shocking deaths already. One murder that viewers are still trying to process is the death of Gloria, who was killed in the latest episode in an ambush. She had been riding in a car with Vic Flynn when they were attacked by the Serbians. Gloria was shot in the head, leaving Vic devastated. Here’s how Shane Harper, the actor who plays him, reacted to Gloria’s death in Power Book IV: Force.

Shane Harper’s reaction to what happened to Gloria in ‘Power Book IV: Force’

Like his character, Harper was heartbroken over what happened to Gloria. When Gabrielle Ryan, the actor who plays her, made a post about Gloria’s death, Harper quote-tweeted it with a series of sad emojis.

“We all love you Gabrielle… heartbroken. …and we all loved Glo as well,” he added on Instagram. “This loss will be felt forever 💔 a true pleasure getting to play all these ups and downs together on screen xxx.”

Harper also retweeted a comment that said, “They didn’t have to do Gloria like that.”

In future episodes, Vic will likely be dealing with some guilt for not listening to Tommy Egan. Tommy had warned him that Walter Flynn would come after Gloria and set up an exit for them. But Vic didn’t listen and unfortunately, it cost Gloria her life.

“Why didn’t Vic just listen to Tommy,” Ryan wrote in an Instagram post. “He never steered him wrong before just like he said. … Let’s see what happens now, it’s POWER after all.”

The trailer for ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Season 1 Episode 9 is intense

In the trailer for the next episode, Walter prepares to go to war with the Serbians for the attack. The ambush appears to be in retaliation for Walter killing three of Rodovan Mirkovic’s men, but Tommy seems skeptical. When he shares his plans with his driver, Walter is warned that they may not have the manpower needed to win. But he’s willing to take the risk.

Meanwhile, Tommy meets with the Serbs and tries to hire them for protection. Tensions between him and Jenard are steadily heating up, seeming to lead to a shootout.

Teasing the show on Twitter, Harper wrote: “Episode 9&10 are unbelievable 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻,”

When does the show come back on?

Unfortunately, Power Book IV: Force is on hiatus. But it’ll be back with a new episode on April 10. It’s the last episode before the season finale, which will air on April 17.

Usually, another Power spinoff would come on right after the other, but that’s not the case this time. In March, executive producer 50 Cent said he actually wouldn’t have any new content on Starz for six months. He explained that the production schedule was pushed back because Starz took so long to renew Force, but the belief is that Power Book III: Raising Kanan will return later in the year.
