Pretty Little Liars is a cult-classic TV show that caused a massive amount of fan buzz. It was on television for seven successful years before ultimately going off the air — but it continues to live in on the form of spinoffs and online fanfiction. Pretty Little Liars featured a number of popular actors over the years, including Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson. Many of the actors who starred in Pretty Little Liars have gone on to live relatively unproblematic lives — however, one of the stars who had a recurring role on the show, Brandon W. Jones, ended up in hot water in early 2016, after a very heated dispute with his neighbor.

When did ‘Pretty Little Liars’ go off the air?

Based on a book series of the same name, Pretty Little Liars debuted on television in 2010 and told the story of five high school girls, who struggle with the fallout caused by the leader of their clique, Alison, going missing. Murder and mayhem ensue in the months that follow her disappearance, with the girls forced to deal with some hard truths about themselves, as well as their friends and associates.

Pretty Little Liars became wildly successful with viewers shortly after it debuted, with critics praising the outrageous twists and turns that the show took. Ultimately, it remained on the air until 2017 — and even though, the franchise proved to have staying power, returning for two spinoffs, Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists

Who did Brandon W. Jones play on ‘Pretty Little Liars’?

Pretty Little Liars is notorious for featuring a roster of talented young stars. One of the young actors who scored a recurring role in the show is Brandon W. Jones, a performer who has many talents, from playing music to modeling. Jones was born in North Carolina in 1988 and although he showed a natural affinity for sports as a young man, he began acting after a move to Los Angeles in his teens.

Jones found early success as a model, shooting for brands like Abercrombie & Fitch. By 2011, he had begun to transition to acting full-time, landing roles in TV shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, according to IMDb. In 2012, Jones got his first big break when he was cast in Pretty Little Liars as Andrew Campbell, one of Spencer’s rivals, and a participant in some of the show’s most intriguing storylines.

Brandon W. Jones continued to act on Pretty Little Liars for several years, and things seemed to be going smoothly for the young star. Still, his career was temporarily derailed in the summer of 2017, when he was arrested for reportedly pointing a gun at his neighbor during a heated dispute, according to Refinery29. The 2017 arrest wasn’t the first time that Jones and the neighbor in question crossed paths — People reported that, in late 2015, Jones and the neighbor got into an altercation where Jones allegedly revealed a concealed handgun. Additionally, in early 2016, Jones was arrested after an altercation with the same neighbor.

Jones’ team attempted to explain his 2017 arrest in a statement, which read in part, “It is our understanding that the gun in Mr. Jones’ possession was fully legal and registered, that he was on his girlfriend’s private property, and that he and his girlfriend felt that they were under threat in a dispute with neighbors.” Jones served a 180-day sentence, along with community service and anger management classes as recompense for the altercation. However, the young actor has managed to stay trouble-free in the years since and has continued performing in a variety of TV shows.
