Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 10th-anniversary photos show a new side of the couple

In the past, Prince William and Kate have modeled their public behavior after Queen Elizabeth II and the late Prince Philip. They were the exact opposite from their lovey-dovey in-laws, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry.

However, in the past year or so, the duo has been more relaxed about their PDA. Now, their anniversary photos are showing a super romantic side of the pair.

In both photos, Kate and William are embracing each other. In one snap, Prince William is staring adoringly at Kate, she looks off into the distance. In the second photo, the pair are hugging and laughing.

Eagle-eyed fans also noticed a fancy piece of jewelry in the anniversary photos. Kate wore a new diamond pendant necklace to celebrate 10 years of marriage and nearly 20 years of love.

The necklace makes quite a statment in one of the engagement photos. It’s a marquise cut necklace with pave diamonds. According to the jeweler, the necklace is called the Daisy Heritage Pendant, and it’s 18 karats white gold and suspended on a diamond chain.

The necklace cost $12,350 and people are speculating that the prince gifted his wife the sparkling jewelry as an anniversary gift.

In addition to the PDA and necklace, body language expert Karen Donaldson says you can tell a lot about the Cambridges’ marriage from their fingers.

“The way in which Kate holds onto William’s fingers tell us that she wants to be close to him, and that she is a solid support for him,” Donaldson told Country Living.

It seems the pair have found a true balance in their public personas and in their personal lives. “Based on their body language in their engagement picture vs now, they’re now no longer overtly showcasing their love,” Donaldson explained. “Their connection is natural, and they easily meld into each other’s space, without much effort. Their poses are more relaxed and less fixed.”

It looks like Prince William and Kate have never been more solid.
