Prince William and Kate Middleton are sharing in the laughs. After Prince Louis stole the show during Platinum Jubilee weekend, and took social media by storm with his antics, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge responded with a hilarious message.

Prince Louis first captured people’s attention at Trooping the Colour

Queen Elizabeth II’s annual birthday parade was bigger than ever in 2022. Trooping the Colour kicked off four days of celebrations marking her 70 years on the throne. There was no shortage of royals in attendance. Among them was, of course, 4-year-old Louis.

The youngest of William and Kate’s children, Louis joined his parents and older siblings, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7. Following a procession including a carriage ride — and lots of waving from Louis — the Cambridge kids took part in a royal tradition.

George, Louis, and Charlotte stood on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside working royals. There Louis proceeded to take social media by storm with his many facial expressions. At one point, the little royal even stood in front of his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

Louis became the talk of Twitter, even inspiring memes.

Kate Middleton and Prince William said Prince Louis had an ‘incredible time’

After four days of festivities, Kate and William took to Instagram to remark on the experience. Alongside various photos from the long weekend, including snaps from Trooping the Colour, a star-studded concert at Buckingham Palace, and more, the couple called it “extremely special.”

“What a fantastic weekend of celebrations. Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special,” they began the June 6 Instagram post.

They continued: “Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to The Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember.”

Before signing off the message with “W & C,” the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge addressed Louis. “We all had an incredible time, especially Louis… 👀,” they said.
