Like many people across the globe, Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge used quarantine to spend extended family time with their children. When the pandemic hit the U.K., the Cambridges packed up their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and moved to their country estate, Amner Hall.

While in the country, the duo homeschooled their children while carrying on their royal duties virtually. Though it was a challenging time for everyone, lockdown allowed the Cambridges to be more present and available since their extensive royal schedules were modified.

In addition to arts and crafts, cooking, and learning more about animals, Prince William has revealed that Princess Charlotte has mastered one popular dance.

Princess Charlotte is extremely outgoing

While Prince George has appeared to be more reserved, especially when out and about in public, the Cambridges have spoken openly about how outgoing their only daughter is.

In fact, it seems that the princess is the one who looks out for her brothers. During a royal outing last year, Queen Elizabeth met two small children who mirrored her grandchildren’s personalities. “The queen was implying that Charlotte keeps an eye out for George rather than the other way around,” a source told Town & Country. “It is often the case that a younger child is more confident. It is the second child syndrome.”

According to royal expert Katie Nicholl via OK! Magazine, Prince Louis has the same extroverted personality as his big sister.

Inside Princess Charlotte’ favorite activities

When she’s not looking out for her brothers, Princess Charlotte adores making cheesy pasta with her mother in the kitchen. Her favorite TV show is the iconic Peppa Pig, a British TV show that has been loved and adored by children across the globe since it debuted back in 2004.

At present, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are also fascinated with demolitions. “The children, especially Louis would love to come and watch that, to see the diggers, they love it,” Prince William commented via People at a recent royal engagement. Kate gently scolded him saying, “Don’t forget Charlotte! She’d love it too.”

However, one of the princess’s true passions is dance. She’s been in ballet classes for years. For the holiday season in 2018, Kate took her only daughter to a special pre-rehearsal performance of The Nutcracker

An insider explained to People, “She looked so excited to be there and sat very still, watching the show. They were the only ones in the audience. It was very sweet.”

Princess William says Princess Charlotte has mastered the floss dance

However, it’s not just ballet that Princess Charlotte enjoys, apparently, she’s also mastered the viral floss dance. During a chat with some children seen in the new ITV documentary, Prince William: A Planet for Us All, the future Crowned King chatted about his daughter’s dance skills.

“Charlotte can floss,” Prince William explained to the eager children. “Catherine can floss but I can’t. It’s, it’s like a really horrible film to watch me floss.”

It’s lovely to know that Princess Charlotte shares a passion that her late grandmother, Princess Diana also had.
