Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge‘s family life often attracts attention from fans all over the world. The couple has three young children, but there are always questions about them having another baby.

Like many people, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are self-isolating right now due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. One royal commentator even claims this could be an ideal situation for a pregnancy announcement down the road.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are self-isolating at Anmer Hall

William and Kate’s primary residence is Kensington Palace in London. However, the couple and their kids have retreated to their country estate, Anmer Hall, amid the pandemic.

William has been keeping in touch with his father, Prince Charles, who tested positive for COVID-19 in March. Meanwhile, Kate is spending time cooking and tending the garden at Anmer Hall. According to Hello, she is likely to be exercising and enjoying the sports facility there as well.

Their oldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are also being occupied with schoolwork. Like other kids their age, George and Charlotte are keeping up with their learning on the internet.

Has quarantine ‘increased the chances’ of Prince William and Kate Middleton having another baby?

According to New Idea, a royal insider claims that William and Kate could be contributing to the alleged pandemic “baby boom” and have a fourth child.

“I’ve thought for some time Kate wants a fourth child and I think this lockdown has increased the chances of that happening,” the insider said. “I’ve always thought the lockdown will result in a baby boom so it wouldn’t surprise me if the Cambridges join the club.”

The article also noted that Kate “looked very maternal” in a recent video.

However, the tabloid-debunking site Gossip Cop is warning fans to think twice before believing the New Idea report, especially because it does not offer substantial evidence for the Duchess of Cambridge being pregnant.

“Is it possible that the duchess is pregnant? Sure, anything is possible, but the palace has made no such pronouncements and the tabloid has nothing more than Middleton ‘looking maternal,’ whatever that means, as evidence,” Gossip Cop wrote.
