‘Real Housewives of Nashville’? Everything We Know About Filming In Music City

A few notable women have been spotted around Nashville with camera crews, sparking rumors that the next stop in the ‘Real Housewives’ train will be in Music City. From who is filming, to what the women have said about a possible reality show, here is everything we know about the ‘Real Housewives of Nashville.’

Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise added a new city to their portfolio in 2020 — Salt Lake City. It was the first expansion in four years, as producers are quite selective about where to film.

But just months after the premiere of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, rumors are starting to swirl that the franchise is getting ready to expand again. Is Real Housewives of Nashville really happening?

A ‘One Tree Hill’ alum sparks ‘Real Housewives of Nashville’ rumors

The speculation that Bravo was gearing up to launch the Real Housewives of Nashville started with One Tree Hill alum Jana Kramer. She sparked the rumors on April 9 when she teased fans about a new project in an Instagram post.

In the photo, the 37-year-old was sitting next to her 2-year-old son Jace in what appeared to be confessional chairs. Kramer wrote in the caption, “About today….any guesses?!”

Later, she posted videos of a camera crew at the home she shares with her husband Mike Caussin. The couple are also the parents of a 5-year-old daughter named Jolie.

Luke Bryan’s wife could be Jana Kramer’s co-star

According to Us Weekly, there is a Nashville-based reality show in the works. But, there hasn’t been an official series order yet. An insider claims that the show is not from Bravo, and it’s not part of the Real Housewives franchise. But, it is a reality show inspired by the popular series.

“There is a Housewives-style show filming in Nashville, that includes [Luke Bryan’s wife] Caroline Boyer and Jana Kramer on the cast,” the source dished. “It is still being shopped around and has not been picked up yet.”

Who is Caroline Boyer?

Kramer actually hangs out with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp. She auditioned to be a “friend” of RHOBH last year. But, she didn’t make the cut because Bravo fired Mellencamp.

As for Boyer, she married country music superstar Luke Bryan in 2006. They share two sons — 13-year-old Thomas and 10-year-old Tatum. When Bryan’s sister Kelly and brother-in-law Ben Lee Cheshire died, Bryan and Boyer took in their three children:  Tilden, Kris, and Jordan.

Will the ‘Real Housewives of Nashville’ feature Jason Aldean’s wife?

Amid the rumors of a Housewives-style show taking place in Nashville, there have been reports that country music star Jason Aldean’s wife Brittany would be part of the cast. However, she has shot down those rumors.

“I’ve read a lot of things about myself over all these years,” Brittany said on her Instagram Stories. “One being that I am a conspiracy theorist. Another being that me and Jason have marital issues and now, apparently, I’m on The Real Housewives of Nashville. Apparently, it’s new. It was apparently filming going on that I am unaware of. Fake news strikes again. It would be entertaining thoooo.”

Jason Aldean’s sister could be part of the ‘Real Housewives’ cast, though

In addition to Kramer’s social media tease about Real Housewives of Nashville, Jason Aldean’s sister, Kasi Wicks, also created some buzz. She’s married to singer Chuck Wicks, and he told his fans on his Instagram Stories that his wife was “filming…something…stay tuned.”

Other potential cast members who have shared pics of themselves filming a show include Jimmie Allen’s wife Alexis Allen, Tyler Rich’s wife Sabina Rich, and Dee Jay Silver’s wife Jenna Perdue.
