Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk series on Facebook Watch continues to soar in viewership as it touches on current events, family issues, relationships, and health.

At times, Pinkett Smith—along with daughter Willow and mom Adrienne Banfield-Jones—have welcomed doctors, friends, and celebrities to the set as guests to share stories, information, and advice.

This month, Red Table Talk features an episode about Juneteenth and a special Father’s Day show with none other than Will Smith.

‘Red Table Talk’ brings it home with Will Smith

Taking a seat on the red couch this time is Pinkett Smith’s husband, actor/rapper Will Smith. It’s just the two of them as they chat about Smith’s journey as a father, starting with a discussion about Will’s own dad, the late Willard Smith, Sr.

In the special episode, he shares lessons learned from his own father and reflects on how his childhood shaped his own parenting style.

There are quite a few vulnerable moments as Smith sheds tears about past regrets,—including the demise of his marriage to Sheree Zampino—triumphs, fathering his children, and growing with wife Jada Pinkett Smith. It hasn’t always been easy, and Smith learned some things the hard way.

When does the episode air and how can you watch?

Catch this special on Sunday, June 21 when it drops on Facebook Watch. In addition to listening to Smith open up about his experiences, viewers will also be treated to old family videos from Smith’s youth, and the births of each of his three children.

Trey, Willow, and Jaden all show up with important messages for their father too. It’s an intimate look at how the Smiths parent and how their family’s love collectively shaped each individual’s lives. You can stream the episode at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST on Sunday.

‘Red Table Talk’ also has a Juneteenth episode up

In case you missed it, Red Table Talk highlighted issues facing Black America in the spirit of Juneteenth with an episode that aired on June 19. Joining hosts Pinkett Smith, Willow, and Gammy were Tamika Mallory and Dr. Angela Davis.

The episode is titled “Black America in Crisis” and its description says the roundtable group sat down to “address the state of emergency within Black America – from racism to police brutality, white supremacy to ‘Karens’ and even cancel culture.” There’s a spotlight on the George Floyd murder, police reform, and different forms of racism.

So far, the video has more than 9 million views and counting. The Red Table Talk social media community is still buzzing with commentary as viewers share their opinions on the topic. You can watch it now on the Facebook Watch platform.

Though Smith was a guest on Red Table Talk in the past, fans may be surprised to see him in a different light in this Father’s Day edition. Prior to this, he and wife Jada opened up about their relationship, mid-life crises, and learning about themselves. Tune in to see the Smith family and hear about what fatherhood means to them.
