Ree Drummond is one of the busiest Food Network personalities. The Pioneer Woman is always in the middle of something as her empire keeps growing. Aside from her hit show, Drummond values family, and her pet dogs are included in there. Drummond has a passion for dogs but there comes a point where they have to be reprimanded, especially when she’s trying to film her cooking show.

Ree Drummond puts Fred on time out

Drummond loves her dogs and often shares photos of them on Instagram. However, Fred was seemingly being a little fussy while the celebrity chef filmed her hit Food Network show. Drummond had to put her dog on time out and she shared an endearing photo of him on the social platform.

“I got to watch Mom film her cooking show yesterday. She made me stay on the chair because I kept trying to steal the food. I couldn’t help it. Love, Fred,” read the post on Instagram.

The adorable photo showcased Fred with a droopy face looking over Drummond filming her show while drool came out of their mouth. It wasn’t long before fans commented on the post and sent their support to Fred.

“This is what I look like while watching the show,” a fan replied.

“I just love Fred…that sweet sad look on his face…so adorable!” a follower added.

“Oh, my Fred! Food must have smelled yummy! I have a Great Dane that can give you a run for your money in the drool category,” an Instagram user said.

“Oh Fred. Maybe she’ll slip you a small morsel after filming,” another fan commented.

“Haha look at the drool bubble!! Poor Fred!” another follower mentioned.

“Fred!! You are the cutest thing I’ve even seen. That is all,” another Instagram user replied.

Ree Drumond prepares for changes on ‘The Pioneer Woman’

Drummond continues to film her successful cooking show The Pioneer Woman and this summer it’s going to look a little different. The Food Network show had to undergo production changes as the pandemic halted things. Drummond recurred to her kids to help with filming the show on their smartphone devices.

“My mom texted us and was like, ‘Can you guys help me film the show?’” daughter Alex said on Instagram. “And we were like, ‘What do you mean?’ We were very confused.”

However, over the summer, Drummond teased that the original production crew was going to be back. Although some fans have expressed hesitation as they liked the “family vibes,” Drummond sounded excited for what was to come.

“Looking forward to starting filming again next month! We’re going to start shooting more of the ranch activities again, which I’ve missed…and later this summer, my original crew from the U.K. will be coming back for the first time in over two years,” she posted on Instagram. “Meantime, hope you enjoy this morning’s show! Its unofficial title is ‘Giggling in an Animal Print Shirt.’ Story of my life. Well, except it’s usually a floral print shirt. Okay, BYE!!”

The Pioneer Woman airs weekends on Food Network and past seasons are available on the discovery+ streaming service.
