The Pioneer Woman is an American brand created by blogger turned celebrity chef Ree Drummond.
Drummond started The Pioneer Woman in 2006 as a blog to chronicle her life as a ranch wife in Oklahoma raising four kids. She started sharing recipes with high-quality images and garnered a massive following.
Her blog led to opportunities like releasing a cookbook and having her own Food Network show since 2011. The Pioneer Woman brand now consists of the blog (now a website owned by media house Hearst); the Pioneer Woman Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma; a clothing line; a frozen food line found in supermarkets; and a kitchen line that retails at Walmart.
