An alien baby is on the loose in ‘Resident Alien’ Season 2

Before the eighth episode, Harry and Asta ventured to New York City to find the owner of the alien phone number. After learning his name is Goliath and has been posing as an artist for over a decade, Harry learns he is dead. But Asta and Harry do not leave empty-handed when given an alien egg created using Goliath and Violinda’s DNA.

In “Alien Dinner Party,” they return home to a surprise birthday party for Harry. Of course, a simple party goes haywire when Harry realizes the egg hatched. Harry tries to look for the baby without alerting anyone until Asta goes to the restroom and is surprised by a baby version of alien Harry.

Asta, her father, and Harry try to keep everyone inside as the baby can eat the humans. Meanwhile, Kate learns the truth about D’Arcy and Ben’s overnight stay together, their kiss, and more. The party is in shambles when Ben also learns Kate hid her pregnancy. That is not all as Max and Sahar sneak to Harry’s cabin to tell Asta the ‘Men in Black’ took Dr. Stone and the alien ball.

To make matters more interesting, Liv hears the sounds being made by the alien baby and has a flashback. Fans see her memory of being examined by an alien figure. Liv tells her husband she will hire the alien investigator.

There was a reason why Goliath bred an alien baby for one of his people to find. While trying to track the alien baby outside, Harry is attacked by it. This is where fans’ jaws dropped to the floor in the Resident Alien Season 2 mid-season finale. The baby uses his powers to tap into Harry’s mind.

In a spectral reality, Goliath appears to Harry in his human form. He warns Harry that their people are not coming to Earth to kill humanity. Instead, Goliath drops a bombshell tied to an earlier scene in the episode. Goliath tells Harry there is another alien race on Earth, evil in nature, who wants to take over the humans.

At the beginning of Resident Alien Episode 8 mid-season finale, General McCallister meets with David about the alien ball. But David is shot, and McCallister is under fire. The scene shows a man with a rifle and his eyes shifting to a grey alien form.

Before Harry can learn more from Goliath, he is shot in the real world. The same man who knew human Harry in New York and worked for Galvan/Powell Group shoots him. Fans know human Harry was involved in a dangerous scheme. To save Harry, Asta shoots the man dead. The episode ends on a few tense cliffhangers.
