Fans have been predicting the inevitable for quite some time, but now word is finally official that Keeping Up with the Kardashians is coming to an end after twenty seasons. Bolstered by the success of the show itself, most of the cast members have an obvious next step for their lives, but questions remain about where matriarch Kris Jenner will be heading. Now that she’s been making some guest appearances, rumors are flying that Jenner has her sights set on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

While some fans think that Jenner would fit right in on the drama-filled reality series, others are not convinced it’s a good move.

Kris Jenner was the mastermind behind ‘KUWTK’

Keeping Up with the Kardashians definitely focused much on the spotlight on the, well, Kardashians. Kris Jenner’s oldest daughters — Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim — definitely became central figures on the reality series, and the headlines have stayed busy cataloging their escapades over the years. Between their love lives, growing families, and impressive business ventures, the sisters have given fans plenty to talk about. Of course, younger sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner have also captured plenty of attention as they have gotten older and gone on to their own impressive endeavors, but since they operated under contracts with less screen time in later years and were literally children when the show aired, the older sisters have always been more of the focus.

Through it all, though, Kris Jenner has been pulling strings behind the scenes. She has spent years managing her children’s careers, and fans have long speculated that the show has been limping along past its logical expiration date at her behest. Now that Jenner seems to have her sights set on other projects, it makes sense that the series is finally winding down for good.

Kris Jenner seems interested in ‘RHOBH’

We all know that Kris Jenner has no problem making her personal life public. It’s been the cornerstone of the entire plan for her family’s success for more than a decade, and she’s ushered in a new face to reality TV. In many ways, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills seems like a logical fit for Jenner. The Bravo reality series started in 2010, not long after the premiere of — and some might say following in the footsteps of — Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The show is best known for its dramatic moments and iconic fights between the cast members.

When Jenner made a recent guest appearance on RHOBH, some fans were quick to point out how well she fit into the general tone of the show. She seemed right at home on the set, and many fans of KUWTK would like to see her make her time on the show more permanent.

Kris Jenner is a Better Fit for ‘RHOBH’ Than ‘KUWTK,’ According to Fans

Just because some fans of KUWTK would like to see their favorite matriarch make the leap to RHOBH doesn’t mean that fans of the Housewives feel the same. One commenter took to Twitter to explain that Kris Jenner would not be a welcome addition because Jenner is a “formidable” ally for cast member Kyle Richards, and Jenner’s presence would cause an imbalance on the series.

Whether Jenner would even want the role is still up in the air, and fans don’t yet know if an offer has been made or not. Whichever way the decision goes, fans are going to be split on whether it was a good one.
