Her name’s Symone and she’s ready to show off her charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent. This queen is currently in the Top 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 13, but she wouldn’t be the first member of her drag family to sashay into the Werk Room.

From the Haus of Edwards to the House of Davenport, there have been a few famous drag families who appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race, the Emmy Award-winning reality competition series. Season 13 is no exception.
Throughout this season, Symone poised herself as one of the frontrunners of the competition. She got plenty of laughs as Harriet Tubman, she stunned with her “foxy” runway, and she even showed her heart in her confessionals.
While a member of the Top 5, Symone confessed that she felt pressure to do well. That was primarily because she is a member of the House of Avalon, known for their fashion and their perfection. Another member of the drag family is Gigi Goode, who was a finalist for season 12.
Symone is a member of the ‘House of Avalon’
Yes, Symone has drag sisters in her fellow competitors. Outside of the reality competition series, though, she’s a member of the legendary House of Avalon, a drag family based in Los Angeles.
That includes Gigi Goode, who is Symone’s drag sister. Fans even saw pictures of the duo during the competition on season 13. Symone currently lives in a building with other members of her house in California.
“I didn’t move with them at first because I had a lot of soul-searching to do back home,” she said during an interview with Allure. “I got myself together and saved my money. The cards just really aligned. A space opened up out here for me to move into.”
There are a few other drag siblings in season 13. Kandy Muse is a member of the now-disbanded “Haus of Aja,” which included former contestants like Dahlia Sin and Aja. Rosé and Jan are best friends and members of the girl group, Stephanie’s Child.
Gigi Goode made it to the finals of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ season 12
Another member of the House of Avalon, Gigi Goode made it to the Top 3 on her season, doing her final lip-sync virtually. Jaida Essence Hall, a member of the “Hall Dynasty,” snatched the crown for season 12.
Soon, fans will learn who will be “America’s Next Drag Superstar” and the crowned queen of season 13. Some seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race are available for streaming on Hulu and Paramount+.
