Inside Saweetie’s relationship with Quavo

Saweetie’s relationship with Quavo dates back to 2018, shortly after she blew up with the 2017 song “ICY GRL.”

As Quavo has explained, he decided to shoot his shot after seeing a photo of Saweetie on Instagram, sending a flirty message through her DMs. Saweetie told GQ that she initially played hard to get, even ghosting him after their first hangout. But they reconnected later on and eventually went on a date, where they hit it off.

Since then, they have seemingly been inseparable, often spending time together and even collaborating on several songs together. Saweetie even told GQ: “I feel like I’m growing and I’m maturing because of him — not the music, not Saweetie, but Diamonté (her real name)… I don’t know how I would be as a person if I would have never met him.”

Saweetie hopes children will be in her future

It seems safe to say the “Tap In” rapper is in it for the long-haul, according to her interview on The WCGI Morning Show in late November.

When the topic of Saweetie possibly having a “quarantine baby” came up, the “Back to the Streets” rapper initially seemed shocked by the question. But then she said, “You know what, I do wanna have babies so…”

She went on to admit, “I wanna have three or four.” However, she wouldn’t say much about a possible timeline. “We gon’ see. Y’all gon’ see,” she added.

For now, Saweetie is focusing on her debut studio album

Saweetie remains hard at work on her debut studio album, Pretty B*tch Music. She told the host the project was supposed to drop in late 2020 but because she wants to ensure it’s a quality album, she pushed back its release. Now, she’s aiming to put it out in the first quarter of 2021, along with other things.

“There are definitely some things I want to accomplish before I do have kids,” she continued. “But what I will say is, I wanna be able to give my kids my undivided attention.”

“I had really young parents, so I was always being babysat by other people, and they did their best to give me their all, but I really want to make sure I’m at a stable point in my life, so I mean, we gon’ see what God has in store,” she added.

Well, when the times, we’re sure those two will be amazing parents.
