‘Selling Sunset’ Season 4: Davina Potratz Gave New Timeline on Release Date
Fans of the Oppenheim Group brokerage can’t wait for Selling Sunset Season 4. The series follows the lives of the women who work for Brett and Jason Oppenheim. And we all want to know what’s going on with Christine Quinn, Davina Potratz, Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae Young, and Maya Vander. So, when is the Selling Sunset Season 4 release date? According to Davina, fans will have to wait even longer than they first expected.
‘Selling Sunset’ Season 4 has reportedly started filming
The first three seasons of Selling Sunset showed fans exactly what the Oppenheim Group is all about. While Brett and Jason are friendly with all of the women on their staff, they still have a business to run — and Christine, Davina, Chrishell, Mary, Heather, Maya, and others all work hard to sell their ultra-expensive, luxury homes.
So, what do we know about Selling Sunset Season 4? Oprah Daily reports the hit Netflix series has been renewed for both seasons 4 and 5, so plenty of new content is coming for fans. As far as filming goes, season 4 experienced filming delays due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but filming resumed in May 2021.
On May 7, Chrishell posted photos with a few other Selling Sunset cast members. “I love when doing things I love, with people I love, can be called ‘work,'” she captioned her post.
Davina Potratz gave a timeline for when fans can expect to see the new season
When will fans get to see the Selling Sunset Season 4 premiere? Chrishell initially told Showbiz Cheat Sheet fans can anticipate the new season coming this fall. “I think I’m allowed to say we’re coming to your screens this fall,” she said. “So people won’t have to wait too much longer.”
It seems Davina has a different take on when anxious viewers might get to see the premiere, though. She spoke to Express.co.uk at the end of July 2021 and said the production crew was “not even close” to completing filming for the season.
“Currently, we are on a short break but not even close to done filming, we have a few more months to go,” Davina said.
With a few more months of filming to go, that means fans may get to see the season 4 premiere by the end of 2021. Either way, it’ll surely be worth the wait.
“What I can tease is that we have bigger, better houses, new cast members, changing dynamics, avant-garde fashion, more babies, and next-level drama that we know you love,” the cast member added.
Does Davina leave ‘Selling Sunset’? She no longer works for the Oppenheim Group
What happened with Davina and the Oppenheim Group, and will she make an appearance in Selling Sunset Season 4? Given how she continues to talk about the series, it seems we can anticipate seeing her in the new season. But she doesn’t work for the Oppenheim Group anymore. Instead, she reportedly works for Douglas Elliman, a rival brokerage.
“I’m really excited to be a part of Douglas Elliman and their very sophisticated and global new development division,” Davina explained to People. “My background is in new development sales and marketing, so this is just a wonderful opportunity for me. It’s just very in tune with my skills.”
With that said, fans still want to know what happens to her $75 million listing she had trouble selling in season 3. Will the ultra-expensive house make a reappearance in season 4? We’ll have to wait and see.
