‘Selling Sunset’ Season 4: Romain Said He’s Completely Done With Davina Ahead of New Season
Fans who followed the Oppenheim Group can’t wait for Selling Sunset Season 4. The hit Netflix series followed the brokerage and all the women working for Brett and Jason Oppenheim. In the past three seasons, fans saw Mary Fitzgerald’s blossoming relationship with her now-husband, Romain Bonnet. Unfortunately, Romain didn’t get along with Mary’s co-worker, Davina Potratz. Here’s what he said more recently about where he stands with Davina ahead of the Selling Sunset Season 4 release date.
Why does Romain dislike Davina? The 2 ‘Selling Sunset’ cast members can’t stand each other
There are plenty of polarizing cast members set to return for Selling Sunset Season 4. While Christine Quinn might be the most notable, her friend, Davina, also caused quite a stir. And it seems Mary’s husband, Romain, doesn’t approve of Davina.
So, why does Romain dislike Davina? Viewers may remember when Romain proposed to Mary with a moissanite engagement ring — a less-expensive alternative to diamonds. While Mary loved the ring and showed it off to her friends and co-workers, Davina quickly pointed out that the ring didn’t contain real diamonds. Later, Davina and Romain exchanged words about the ring.
At Christine’s party, Davina questioned Romain about why he didn’t get Mary a “real diamond.”
“That’s f—ing bulls—,” Romain told her. “If you don’t know the person, you shut the f— up and you don’t make any comments like that.”
Ultimately, Davina wasn’t invited to Mary’s wedding.

So, where do Romain and Davina stand ahead of Selling Sunset Season 4? A Reddit user noted Romain was answering fan questions via Instagram Stories — and Davina came up.
“Do you still have drama/tension around Davina?” a fan asked him. “Is she still around?”
“I don’t, actually,” Romain answered. “Like I said, once I flip the switch, I’m over. This is not someone I want in my life. … I don’t wish her any bad, but don’t want anything either to deal with, and it’s better like this.”
“I love him for this,” a fan answered. “No one should be forced to keep someone they find toxic in their lives. GO ROMAIN!”
“Yeah for real, this response from him blows me away in a good way,” another fan commented. “Good for him. He’s not even pretending to have drama for the sake of the show, dude is living the right way.”
Is Davina on ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 4?
Is Davina leaving Selling Sunset? While she no longer works for the Oppenheim Group, Brett seemed to confirm she’ll still make an appearance. Brett posted a photo to his Instagram Stories showing him with Christine and a new broker for the company. It’s likely the photo was taken while they were filming the new season.
Now, Davina works for a competing brokerage, Douglas Elliman. “I’m really excited to be a part of Douglas Elliman and their very sophisticated and global new development division,” she told People. “My background is in new development sales and marketing, so this is just a wonderful opportunity for me. It’s just very in tune with my skills.”
Fans would love to know if Davina ends up selling her $75 million listing, too. So far, it seems the ultra-expensive home hasn’t sold. We’re hoping to get an update on this in Selling Sunset Season 4.
