Another new realtor joins the Oppenheim Group in season 5
Season 4 of Selling Sunset introduced fans to two new realtors: Vanessa and Emma. As Mary revealed to Showbiz Cheat Sheet over a Zoom call, Emma worked with the O Group in the past.
“[Emily and I] have been friends for probably four or five years,” Mary told us in November 2021. “She worked at The Oppenheim Group before she came on the show.” Meanwhile, Vanessa previously had a career as an actor starring in Mexican TV series like Romántica obsesión, Ellas, and Un nuevo amor.
Season 5 brings another new realtor to the Oppenheim Group’s Los Angeles office — Chelsea Lazkani. “The secret is OUT!” she wrote on Instagram.
“I’m beyond thrilled to announce that I have joined the cast of @netflix Selling Sunset! So grateful for everyone involved, the list is long and you know who you are. The laughs, the lux, the drama, it’s all there in season 5 and I can’t wait for you all to see it!”
Many of Chelsea’s colleagues commented on the post welcoming her to the Netflix series. “Here we go!!!!” Heather commented, adding: “Yay. So much love.” Mary and Selling Tampa star Juawana Colbert also commented to congratulate Chelsea.
‘Selling Sunset’ Season 4 left off in a tense spot
Christine found herself in the middle of the drama in Selling Sunset Season 4. Throughout the season, the women of the Oppenheim Group became focused on the she-said-she-said between Christine and Emma regarding an allegedly mutual ex-boyfriend, Peter Cornell (who Emma is rumored to be dating again). In episode 6, Christine reveals she was dating the “love of her life” for two and a half years when he allegedly cheated on her with Emma.
Meanwhile, Emma had a different version of the story — one the women of the Oppenheim Group stood behind. Selling Sunset Season 4 ended with Christine feeling like she was on the outs at an event Brett and Jason hosted where they announced the opening of the Oppenheim Group’s Newport Beach office (which subsequently resulted in another spinoff series, Selling The OC.
Selling Sunset Season 5 will likely pick up shortly after this event. Fans will have to tune in to find out if Christine’s still feeling like an outsider or not.
