‘Station 19’ Production resumed for season 5

In an Instagram Story, Station 19 cast member Carlos Miranda teased the return to production. He took a short clip walking toward his set trailer. The actor who portrays Theo Ruiz in the firefighter drama opened the door, walked up the steps, and waved to viewers in the mirror.

“First day back 2022,” his Instagram Story read.

Although the clip didn’t include any sneak peeks, many fans felt relieved that production had resumed. ABC paused production on Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy out of an abundance of caution over the current coronavirus (COVID-19) omicron wave of infections sweeping the country. Sadly, the one cast member not to resume production was Okieriete “Oak” Onaodowan, who chose to leave his role as Dean Miller in Station 19 Season 5.

When is the next episode of ‘Station 19’?

Despite the production delay, Station 19 Season 5 and Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 return on Feb 24, 2022. The delay won’t push back the dramatic Station 19 Grey’s Anatomy crossover event planned for that evening as of right now.

When Station 19 Season 5 Episode 9 returns, Ben Warren (Jason George) frantically tries to save Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd). He gathers his team and rushes to the scene of an SUV crash where Owen went over Leon’s Ridge in a car.
