The CW‘s Superman & Lois features Tyler Hoechlin as the Man of Steel. But he’s about to be joined by someone in his past for season 2. Fans of Teen Wolf, which ended in 2017, have been wanting a reunion between their favorite wolf pack for quite some time now. And now that MTV announced there would be a Teen Wolf movie on Paramount+, the good news just keeps on coming. The CW recently cast Ian Bohen to play a new character in Superman & Lois Season 2, reuniting him with fellow werewolf Tyler Hoechlin.

Ian Bohen is joining ‘Superman & Lois’ Season 2

According to Deadline, The CW cast Ian Bohen for a multi-episode arc in Superman & Lois Season 2. Bohen will play Lt. Mitch Anderson, the “new sheriff in town” at the Department of Defense. He divides people into two types – those you serve and those who serve you.

If Anderson sounds like he will be broody and harsh to you, then you might be right. And, of course, the new “sheriff” is not a fan of Superman, played by Tyler Hoechlin. Anderson objects to Superman acting outside of his philosophy, and he will try to officially bring the Man of Steel under the DOD’s authority.

As mentioned previously, Bohen and Hoechlin starred in Teen Wolf together. Hoechlin played Derek Hale, and Bohen played Peter Hale, Derek’s uncle. The two characters, both werewolves, were constantly at odds in the show because Peter killed Derek’s sister. And now, in Superman & Lois Season 2, it sounds like Bohen and Hoechlin’s characters will be on opposite sides again.

What happened in ‘Superman & Lois’ Season 1?

Not that there was any doubt about it, but Superman & Lois Season 1 was a success. Only a month after its premiere, The CW renewed Superman & Lois for season 2.

Clark, Lois, and their twin sons, Jonathan and Jordan, moved from Metropolis to Smallville after Clark’s mother, Martha, died in the first season. There, Clark reunited with Lana Lang, her husband, Kyle Cushing, and their daughter, Sarah. The apparent villain of the season, dubbed The Stranger, turned out to be John Henry Irons from an alternate universe. Irons was married to Lois Lane in his universe, but evil Superman killed her after she told the world about his one weakness. Irons accidentally came to Smallville on Earth-Prime, but he decided to stay and defeat their version of Superman. He later realized that Superman is Earth’s protector, and he teamed up with him to take down the real villain of the season, Morgan Edge.

Throughout the season, Lois tried to expose Edge for exploiting the people of Smallville. Superman & Lois later revealed that Edge is Clark’s half-brother, Tal-Rho. His goal was to turn Earth into a new Krypton by supplanting human beings with Kryptonian consciousness. He also kidnapped Jordan and turned him into his father, Zeta-Rho. In the finale, Lois successfully expelled Zeta-Rho from her son’s mind. Clark and Irons then fought Tal-Rho. They defeated him and brought Edge back. In the end, Superman told the world the truth about Edge. Lois bought half of the Gazette. General Lane stepped down from the DOD. And Irons’ daughter, Natalie, crash-landed on the Kent farm. And now, onto Superman & Lois Season 2.
