Taylor Swift’s new release has fans speculating about her next re-recorded album

Since Swift released Red (Taylor’s Version) in November 2021, fans of the singer have been trying to guess which re-recorded album will drop next.

Up until this point, it has seemed like there are an equal number of hints for 1989 (Taylor’s Version) or Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). To make things more confusing, Swift’s official store recently released merchandise for both albums.

Since announcing “This Love (Taylor’s Version),” fans have been busy trying to decode the singer’s social media posts, new merchandise, and song choice.

“Saw this on Twitter, but why the 8 blank spaces between the letters on midnight,” one fan wrote on Reddit. “8 days from today is Friday the 13th! 1989 TV?????”

“Wait! Speak Now and 1989 merch dropped?! Wtf is happening,” wrote a Reddit user.

Another Reddit user wrote, “What are the three smiley faces??? I feel like this love is a misdirect and speak now is actually coming out.”
