This season of The Bachelorette will have two stars. So some fans might be tempted to compare them. One asked Chris Harrison how he feels about Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams. This is his answer and more about the switch.

Clare Crawley got engaged early on ‘The Bachelorette’

Crawley was announced to be the star of season 16. But she fell for Dale quickly and Harrison said they couldn’t move forward with the way things were going.

Crawley made it known that she wanted Dale. Harrison then put plans together for them to get engaged by getting a diamond from Neil Lane.

“The moment I knew that you were coming like I was so excited to meet you,” Crawley told him at her final rose ceremony. “Then when you got here it was like electricity for me because I knew that I had just met my husband.”

“From the moment I stepped out of the limo this was special,” Dale told her. “And I know you and I, we both felt it immediately and there’s absolutely no denying it.” He told her that he wants to make her happy each and every day before getting down on one knee and proposing.

Tayshia Adams was chosen to replace her

The episode ended with the engaged couple leaving together. Tayshia was then brought in as a replacement and was getting ready to meet the remaining men.

Adams previously appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. She later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise and dated John Paul Jones. They then later broke up.

“Tayshia had been through a divorce, so I think there is a lot of maturity that comes with that, and she is super serious about settling down, just like Clare was, so it actually did not seem like a huge stretch for these guys,” ABC executive Rob Mills told Variety.

“Also, you have to remember that we cast a lot of guys that weren’t necessarily announced for Clare because she was announced as the bachelorette so late, so some of these guys would have been there for someone else that was chosen as the lead, anyway,” he added.

The host shared a new picture of him standing next to Adams on Nov. 9. Adams is holding a basketball, which can be a clue to a date. Harrison captioned the picture with, “We all start a new week with a new….Bachelorette! As @adam-taggartyshia and I look ahead a reminder we’re back tomorrow (Tuesday) night #TheBachelorette.”

Many fans are reacting to the season making the big change to Adams being a star. Some fans are wondering if Harrison has a favorite between Crawley and Adams.

“Chris have you found this season interesting and very unexpected? I am huge fan of both shows,” a fan wrote in the comments. “Yes to both,” he answered.

Harrison has also talked about not being mad at Crawley for her decision. It looks like he’s supportive of both women.
