Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph’s romance going south was one of the most shocking things to happen in Bachelor nation this year. Not only did the two break up, but Randolph requested a restraining order against Underwood, alleging that he tracked her car. Now, reports have surfaced that Underwood owned up to all of Randolph’s accusations.

Colton and Cassie’s breakup

Underwood and Randolph seemed to be closer than ever this year. The two quarantined together amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. When Underwood tested positive for coronavirus, it was Randolph and her family who nursed him back to health. So, when the pair announced that they had broken up shortly after he recovered, fans were shocked.

“It’s been a crazy few months to say the least, Cass and I have been doing a lot of self-reflecting,” Underwood wrote on Instagram, announcing the breakup. “Sometimes people are just meant to be friends – and that’s OK. We both have grown immensely and been through so much together – so this isn’t the end of our story, it’s the start of a whole new chapter for us.”

Things began to get ugly when Randolph claimed that Underwood wanted to add details of their breakup to his book.

Cassie files for a restraining order

Sources close to the couple told Entertainment Tonight that originally Underwood and Randolph tried to remain friends after the breakup but Randolph started getting strange text messages from an unknown number and reported finding a tracking device on her car.

When Randolph confronted Underwood about all of these strange things, he admitted to “everything” according to the source.

Randolph was then granted a temporary restraining order which stated that Underwood had to stay 100 yards away from Randolph, her house, and her workplace.

How does Colton feel about all of this?

Underwood has reportedly been having a really hard time dealing with the split and the distance from Randolph.

“[Colton] really isn’t ready to accept it yet and would love nothing more than to get Cassie back,” a source told HollywoodLife. “He is gutted that all of this is happening in front of the whole world.

“He hates that it has gotten to a place where she has filed a restraining order against him as he would love to just have a conversation with her to figure out their differences.”

What does Chris Harrison have to say?

As someone who had a hand in bringing Randolph and Underwood together, Bachelor host Chris Harrison is deeply sad that their relationship has come to this.

“I’ve reached out, just as far as support,” Harrison told Entertainment Tonight. “I have not talked to them and I am very glad to see that they … [are] taking this off-line. They’re not settling this in the press, they’re hopefully taking care of themselves and each other and being smart about this.

“I just wish them both well, I wish Colton and Cassie well,” he continued. “It’s a very unfortunate situation for sure, and I think a surprising one. Honestly, it was a pretty shocking headline.”
