Colton Underwood is making headlines thanks to his recent announcement that he’s gay. While The Bachelor star thought he found love with Cassie Randolph, they later broke up. And another contestant on Underwood’s Bachelor season, Kirpa Sudick, explained she knew Underwood never liked her despite the fact she made it quite far. Here’s what she said.

Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor was certainly a memorable one. In the end, he infamously jumped a fence over Cassie Randolph. While she initially chose to leave the show without Underwood by her side, Underwood convinced her to give things another shot. They ended up leaving the show together.

Unfortunately, the two couldn’t make their relationship work — and it had an explosive end. Randolph filed a restraining order against Underwood after discovering he put a tracking device on her car and he was sending her worrisome texts.

As for the other contestants, we can’t forget about Kirpa Sudick. Sudick is a dental hygienist, and she didn’t get as much screen time as the other contestants. However, it seemed like there could’ve been a spark between her and Underwood, as she made it all the way to last few women. In the end, Underwood didn’t have as many feelings for Sudick, though, and he sent her home.

Kirpa Sudick knew Colton Underwood didn’t like her

Sudick knew she was never a frontrunner on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. She talked to Reality Steve on his podcast about her relationship with the star.

“I could tell Colton didn’t like me, but I just rolled with it,” she explained. “I was like, alright, we’re just on a friendly level, and I’m just gonna go with it and see when he’s gonna kick me off, or the producers will kick me off. I knew we didn’t really have a strong connection or anything.”

“We had good talks, but it’s more of a friend connection,” she added. “It was always like, OK, I might be going home.”

So will fans see Sudick on Bachelor in Paradise? It doesn’t seem so. She explained on the podcast she once tried to get cast on the show, but she doesn’t think she’s who the producers had in mind.

Colton Underwood may forever be known as the star of The Bachelor, but it seems he’s working to shed that image. Now, he’s rumored to be getting his own Netflix series, according to the Los Angeles Times. It’s likely to follow his life as a gay man.

As for Underwood’s dating life in 2021, it seems he’s not seeing anyone just yet. He explained on Good Morning America he hasn’t found that spark with any man as of now.

“I still haven’t had an emotional connection with a man, I’ve never allowed myself to,” he explained. “It’s never been in my cards to let myself get there. I want to more than anything. I’m looking for someone who can push me and challenge me in all the right ways. I still have a long ways to go. I’m still learning.”
