For once, it seems that Chris Harrison might be telling the truth. The Bachelorette 2020 is certainly shaping up to be the most dramatic season ever. Clare Crawley managed to shake things up on her very first night as The Bachelorette when she met contestant, Dale Moss. Though Crawley met a whopping 31 men on the first night, she seemed to have instant chemistry with Moss and declared that she believed she’d met her husband mere seconds after meeting him.

But Cawley’s connection with Moss seems to have turned into a bit of an obsession. Whether The Bachelorette producers are just using skillful editing or Crawley’s behavior is truly driving the obsession with Moss remains to be seen, but last week’s episode was a Dale fest in more ways than one. The episode started with Yosef Aborady confronting Crawley for behavior that he deemed unacceptable. When things escalated, it was Moss who miraculously appeared to console Crawley.

Dale Moss has been the focal point of ‘The Bachelorette’ 2020

The episode continued with a group date, which Moss was selected for. However, the beginning portion of the date was actually canceled. Instead, Crawley had a conversation with former bachelorette, Deanna Stag. During Crawley’s conversation with Stag, Crawley got candid about just how connected she felt to Moss. While expressing her feelings, she sniffed a pair of Moss’ pants and encouraged Stag to do the same.

When The Bachelorette finally ended the conversation with Stag to go on the evening portion of her group date, she spent the overwhelming majority of the evening with Moss, speaking with him multiple times and even rushing through her conversations with the other hopeful contestants.

Clare Crawley didn’t appreciate the other contestants roasting Moss

Fans of The Bachelorette couldn’t even manage to get a break from hearing about Moss during Crawley’s one-on-one date with Zach Jackson. When Crawley was interviewed during the date, she expressed that she wished Moss was on the date with her in lieu of Jackson. The obsession with Moss only escalated with the second group date of the week. While Moss wasn’t chosen for the “comedic roast” date, he and the remaining contestants were invited to sit in the audience.

Naturally, The Bachelorette contestants took the opportunity to roast Moss and each other. And while it was seemingly well-deserved ribbing, Crawley didn’t seem to appreciate the digs about Moss at all. She used the evening portion of her date to talk to the contestants about Moss and why they made the jokes they did and neglected to give out a group date rose. This caused the other contestants to question why they were even there if Crawley was going to have tunnel vision about Moss.

Moss was mentioned over 100 times in the most recent episode of ‘The Bachelorette’

Crawley later shared that even though Moss wasn’t on the group date, somehow it was still about him. But, actually, it would be more accurate to say that the entire episode was about Moss. In fact, one fan of The Bachelorette took the time to count every single time Moss was mentioned during the episode which aired on October 27, 2020.
