One of the group dates in week three was a roast. The men got to roast each other and the other contestants who weren’t on the group date got to sit in the audience. Dale was in the audience, but most of the men joked about him.

Bennet Jordan had the most jokes about the former football player. “How long do you really think it’s going to take Clare to figure out that you’re here trying to campaign for president and actually have no interest in her?” he asked. “Your speeches make absolutely no sense no matter how long you continue your run-on sentences. I’ve witnessed three cameramen collapse after falling asleep listening to you.”

He ended his jokes with, “Since you said you’re the best suited for Clare, do me a favor and at least swing by my chateau for a little lesson in fashion before the big day. You big diva.”

Clare Crawley called him her fiancé

Crawley sat down with the men after the roast. She asked most of them about their jokes about Dale even when they tried to change the subject.

The night then ended and it was time for her to give a rose. “I really, really am conscious of the conversations I had with you guys,” Crawley said. “And I take them all to heart and what we talk about means a lot to me. The thing that is my saving grace is that I know what I’m looking for and I know what I want.”

She claimed she didn’t get what she needed from them so she didn’t give out a rose. “I really don’t think I can sit there and go ‘You dished on my fiancé so hard’ like, like I can’t be doing that sh*t, you know? It doesn’t feel right,” she tells someone who works on the show.

Crawley went on to say she took offense to them making fun of her connection with Dale. She also said she feels confident about it and feels so good.

Contestants have called the star of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette their girlfriend or boyfriend. But the star usually avoids using such language for multiple reasons.

So fans were very surprised to hear Crawley call Dale not even her boyfriend, but her fiancé. It’s a clear message of who she plans to pick in the end. Her not giving a rose to any of the men on the date also sent a message that she wasn’t happy with them.

Fans will have to keep watching to see what will happen at the next rose ceremony. But it looks like Crawley is ready to send more men home.
