Some fans are upset with Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark

After the finale of The Bachelorette aired, Clark and Adams traveled to New York City together. The two then posted on Instagram that they were traveling to visit Clark’s family in New Jersey.

Because of the coronavirus, New Jersey is discouraging interstate travel and encouraging travelers to voluntarily quarantine. On social media, fans of The Bachelorette pointed out that it does not seem like Adams and Clark are following guidelines.

“As a huge Z/T fan, I’m disappointed. Forgetting the breaking the guidelines part, I hope they do make reasonable judgement to ensure they don’t have COVID (test to ensure they are negative, etc) before meeting his parents, given they are older folks,” a fan wrote on Reddit.

“Tayshia and Zac’s selfish self entitled behavior and others like them is why our hospitals have 0% bed availabilty. And all our frontline medical workers are exhausted and traumatized to the max. How many people have to needlessly DIE before these reckless people are willing to care about anyone other than themselves. Disgusting,” a Reddit user wrote.

Other fans do not blame the new couple

While some fans were disapproving of Adams and Clark traveling to visit family, others do not blame the couple for spending time with family.

“People are going to go to places if places are open and it’s allowed. We’re nearly a year into this now. The government refuses to pay people to stay home and close inessential businesses so people are going to go out and eat. I really cannot get mad at individuals anymore, it’s exhausting,” wrote a Reddit user.

“In my home state, people took the government allowing businesses to reopen as an indication that it is safe to go there. As you said, it’s been nearly a year and a lot of people thought this ‘quarantine’ would only last a few weeks. It’s just exhausting all the way around,” a fan wrote on Reddit.
