Clare Crawley and Dale Moss got engaged after knowing each other just under two weeks while filming The Bachelorette. Much of Bachelor Nation criticized the couple for moving so quickly. But, as Crawley and Moss told Chris Harrison: When you know, you know. And, apparently, they knew.
Shortly after the episode that revealed that Crawley and Moss were engaged aired, rumors started to pop up that Moss was cheating on Crawley. Here’s how they responded.
Dale Moss always knew he was going to propose to Clare Crawley on ‘The Bachelorette’
Though the season’s editing might have made it seem like Crawley and Moss’ relationship was one-sided (cue the pants-smelling clip), Moss says he knew he wanted to end up with Crawley after the first group date.
“After we had our first group date, in my mind and in my heart, everything was already written,” he said on Good Morning America. “So, everything after the fact validated that and I knew in my heart it was going to be her and I at the end of the day.”
Additionally, Moss says he didn’t hesitate about proposing to Crawley. He was set on ending up with her.
“[It was] never a question [if I’d propose],” he said. “I said from the beginning, ‘There was never a time I wouldn’t be there for you.’ And my heart was so full. I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Never a second thought. If you see in the episode, we’re so relaxed and we’re so calm together, and we knew at that moment that we were exactly where we were meant to be.”
The Dale Moss cheating rumors
Several Bachelor fan accounts have posted photos of Moss walking around New York City with a few models last week after working a Hugo Boss event together. The group got drinks after the event and, supposedly, Moss was seen “getting affectionate” with one of the women.
Sources tell TMZ that the reports are “absolutely untrue” and that one of the women Moss was with is married and the other has a boyfriend. They simply went out together as friends.
How Clare Crawley and Dale Moss are handling the cheating rumors
After the rumors surfaced, Crawley met up with her fiancé just a few days later in his hometown of South Dakota. She even shared a romantic picture of them smooching in the snow.
Sources also told TMZ that Crawley and Moss are decidedly ignoring the cheating rumors. Instead, they’re looking forward to spending their first Thanksgiving together on the West Coast.
The publication reports that Moss flew to Sacramento to meet Crawley and the couple will be heading down to San Diego to celebrate the holiday with family and friends.
