‘The Bachelorette’ Katie Thurston Reveals She’s Already Falling for 1 Contestant
We are only four weeks into Katie Thurston’s journey to find love, but it’s already looking like one man could take the whole thing home. Normally, leads on The Bachelorette wait a while until they tell any contestant that they have serious feelings for them. On last night’s episode, Thurston broke the unspoken rules and told one man she was falling in love with him.
Who is Katie Thurston falling in love with on ‘The Bachelorette’?

Thurston has had several good conversations with a number of her men, despite having to deal with the drama of some of them being there for the wrong reasons. But even with all of the drama, she and Greg Grippo continue to connect.
Grippo received Thurston’s first impression rose and went on a one-on-one with her. During last night’s group date, Thurston and Grippo got real about their feelings for one another.
Grippo told Thurston that he was feeling out of his comfort zone dating a woman who was also dating other men at the same time.
“I feel like my mind’s going nuts sometimes,” he told her. “You’re all I think about.”
Luckily for Grippo, Thurston felt the same way. She rubbed his hand and said that she also felt the connection.
“You’re not really trying to impress me, you’re just being you – which is impressing me,” she said. “I’m starting to fall for you.”
Greg might not be there for the right reasons
Though Grippo is a frontrunner on the show, a recent Reddit thread accused him of being on The Bachelorette to further his career.
“He is not on the show for love, let alone Katie, and his appearance on this show is solely to promote and kick-start his acting career,” the post read.
In the thread, another user, who didn’t call Grippo by name, relayed a similar story.
“My best friend dated a fan-favorite contestant on The Bachelorette very seriously for a year and a half and he was awful to her,” the user wrote, according to Distractify. “This sweet shy boy act is exactly that: an act. He really is actually an actor. I’ve personally witnessed him throw a fit and call her a terrible name for wearing a mini dress, so I can only imagine what happened behind closed doors.”
Did Greg and Katie already break up on ‘The Bachelorette?
Before last night’s episode, Thurston liked a shady meme that was posted by Bachelor Nation star Bekah Martinez.
“When the guy next to you is getting interrogated about wanting to be the bachelor and you’ve gotta pretend to be disgusted while hiding your acting career aspirations,” the meme read with a photo of Grippo looking annoyed at Thomas Jacobs, who revealed that he wanted to be the Bachelor.
Thurston liked the meme, which made fans wonder if things had gone south with her and Grippo. To make matters worse, Grippo’s sister called Thurston out for liking the post.
“@thekatiethurston likes this post but was such a supporter of removing the toxicity and mean girls when she was on Matt’s season, you’d think if those intentions when [SIC] genuine she’d had just as much of an issue with this post as well,” Samantha allegedly wrote in a comment captured by @Bachelorteaspill. “Really disappointed in this.”
The comment has since been deleted.
