‘The Bachelorette’: Reality Steve Just Revealed What Really Happened Between Clare Crawley and Dale Moss
There have been lots of contradictory reports about what is happening during filming of the upcoming season of The Bachelorette. In a new blog post, Reality Steve set the record straight. According to Reality Steve, previous reports have not accurately depicted what actually happened between Clare Crawley and Dale Moss on The Bachelorette.

Clare Crawley and Dale Moss did not have a relationship before filming
The most common rumors surrounding The Bachelorette are that Crawley fell for Moss early on during filming, and production brought in Tayshia Adams to replace her. While Reality Steve does not know if Crawley and Moss are engaged, he reported that it is true they are together. He wrote that it is also true Adams replaced Crawley.
“Clare and Dale are together, Clare’s ‘Bachelorette’ season in particular is over, and Tayshia has taken over as the next ‘Bachelorette.’ So that part of the reporting, the basics, has been correct. And I think everyone has come to accept that over the last week or so,” he reported on his blog.
However, Reality Steve refuted multiple popular rumors surrounding the season including that Crawley and Moss talked before filming and that Crawley was difficult to work with on set.
“What I’ve been told is that this narrative of Clare being difficult, production not knowing what to do, Clare having a pre-show relationship – are not true whatsoever,” he wrote.
Reality Steve continued, “… Clare took a liking to him based on his IG feed and stories, liked what she saw, and definitely was the one guy who caught her eye heading into the show, possibly to the point where she had blinders on to the rest of them. But reports there was a pre-show relationship and this was planned between them is false.”
Bringing Tayshia Adams on ‘The Bachelorette’
According to the blogger, there were four completed rose ceremonies before production brought in Adams to be on The Bachelorette, and the remaining men from Crawley’s season will finish filming with Adams.
“They reached out to guys who never made cast, and guys who had been eliminated in previous rose ceremonies from Clare, but I have not heard of one guy that went back to filming,” Reality Steve wrote. “So Tayshia’s guys are whoever was left on Clare’s season, and possibly any new guys that were asked who never were part of the 32 names back in March, or 42 names announced in July.”
Production came up with the idea for Clare Crawley and Dale Moss to leave the show
Reality Steve’s blog post contradicts previous reports that it was Crawley who forced production’s hand. Instead, Reality Steve was told that it was production’s idea for Crawley and Moss to leave the show together.
In his blog post he wrote:
“… from the beginning, basically no one else stood a chance. It was once producers noticed Clare and Dale’s chemistry that they realized they had a problem on their hands, and, in probably the biggest difference I’ve heard from what the media is reporting, is that it was production’s idea to go to Clare with a suggestion of, ‘Well, what do you want to do here? It’s clear you’re into him and no one else’ kinda thing. And that’s where production had to think on the fly about what to do next and, eventually, settled on bringing in Tayshia as the ‘Bachelorette.'”
It seems that previous reports knew with certainty that Adams replaced Crawley because of her feelings for Moss. However, reports did not know the extent of what happened between Crawley and Moss while filming.
“I think Clare and Dale might just actually be a once-in-a-blue-moon whirlwind of a romance (whether just in their minds or it’s actually true), production realized there wasn’t much they could do, so they leaned into it rather than hold her feet to the fire, and now we have what we have – a new ‘Bachelorette’ in Tayshia. Pretty different than what the media is reporting if you ask me,” he wrote.
Based on Reality Steve’s findings, fans are in for an interesting season of The Bachelorette filled with changes that have never happened before on the show.
