Where did showrunners film Michelle Young’s season of ‘The Bachorette’?

According to Reality Steve, Michelle’s season was filmed in a couple of different locations. The Bachelorette is no stranger to setting up shop in the desert, and that’s precisely what they did for Michelle. The season will start out in the desert in Indian Wells, California. Production took over the entire Esmerelda Resort and Spa for a portion of the season before they packed up and moved to Minnesota. Michelle calls Minnesota home, so it makes sense that the show would move to this location.

The Bachelorette relaxed some of its coronavirus (COVID-19) protocols for Michelle’s season, allowing the show to be filmed in more than one place. The last couple of seasons had tighter rules regarding filming due to the pandemic.

What are some previous filming locations of ‘The Bachelorette?’

The Bachelorette has filmed in a wide variety of locations for previous seasons. Clare Crawley’s and Tayshia Adams’ season filmed during the height of the coronavirus pandemic. The showrunners took extra precautions so everyone could remain safe. The show rented out the entire Waldorf Astoria’s La Quinta Resort and Club in La Quinta, California.

In 2017, Rachel Lindsay starred as The Bachelorette and her season had a unique filming location. The producers were able to rent out actor Kirk Douglas’ house in Palm Springs, California.

Fans can expect drama as usual for Michelle Young’s season

As former host, Chris Harrison always reminded viewers, “This is the most dramatic season yet.” However, he might have been on point with that statement for this season. Not a great deal of information can be gleaned from the trailer for The Bachelorette Season 18. However, it gives fans a look at some of the drama in store.

One of the big moments highlighted in the trailers is when one of the new hosts, Tayshia Adams, tells Michelle that they’ve made an “alarming discovery.” There’s also mention of someone “planning their every move.” The camera then flashes to a spreadsheet.

Most of the men this season seem to have a level head. However, that doesn’t mean tempers don’t flare at some point. We hear contestant Lowell “LT” Murray wonder why someone “just won’t shut up.”

Someone also accuses Michelle of knowing one of the contestants before the show began. The clip shows Clayton Echard, who has supposedly already been tapped as the next Bachelor, saying the cast member is being dishonest with everyone in the entire house.

“He said he doesn’t know her, but there’s something he’s not telling all of us,” Clayton says.

The Bachelorette Season 18 premieres on Oct. 19 and will air on Tuesday nights on ABC.
