‘The Batman: The Complete Series’ Is Coming to Blu-Ray
Fans of the Caped Crusader have plenty to celebrate in 2022. Along with the release of Matt Reeves’ new movie, the Emmy-winning animated series, The Batman, is coming to Blu-Ray+Digital.
‘The Batman’ premiered in 2004
Based on one of DC‘s most iconic characters, The Batman follows the superhero’s early years fighting crime in Gotham. Along the way, the Caped Crusader is joined by allies like Robin and Batgirl. Together the heroes face off with Gotham City’s Rogues’ Gallery, including villains like The Everywhere Man and Killer Moth.
The animated series, produced by DC and Warner Bros. Animation, premiered in September 2004 and ran for five seasons on Cartoon Network and Kids’ WB.
Over the course of its run, The Batman won six Daytime Emmy Awards and received 12 nominations. An accompanying movie, The Batman vs. Dracula, was released in 2005, and the final season aired in 2008.
T’he Batman: The Complete Series’ is coming to Blu-Ray+Digital
Fans will get to bring The Batman: The Complete Series home soon. The 65-episode box set will be available on Blu-Ray+DIgital on Feb. 1, 2022, for $69.99.
A Warner Bros. press release revealed that the six-disc The Batman: The Complete Series comes with several featurettes and quizzes, including:

The series features a star-studded voice cast
The Batman: The Complete Series stars Rino Romano as the Caped Crusader, Evan Sabara as Dick Grayson/Robin, Danielle Judovits as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Kevin Michael Richardson as the Joker, Ming-Na Wen as Detective Ellen Yin, Tom Kenny as The Penguin, Clancy Brown as Mr. Freeze, and Alastair Duncan as Alfred.
The star-studded cast also features X-Files actor Mitch Pileggi as Commissioner James Gordon and Batman star Adam West as Mayor Grange. Mark Hamill of Star Wars fame voices Tony Zucco. Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt plays Jake. Ron Perlman, Louis Gossett Jr., Brooke Shields, Robert Englund, and Brandon Routh also star.
