Want to see your favorite actresses face off? Then you’re in luck.

During the coronavirus pandemic, so many celebrities have found creative ways to keep themselves and their fans entertained. While these efforts aren’t always well-received, they have allowed some big-name stars an opportunity to make headlines and connect with their fans.

One of the most exciting recent trends has been viral videos made by stunt teams. A French stunt team at Campus Univers Cascades in Le Cateau-Cambrésis and another group in Chicago are among those who have participated. And now some of Hollywood’s most prominent actresses made their own version of a social distancing stunt video.

Zoë Bell is one of Hollywood’s leading stuntwomen

Zoë Bell — one of the most famous stuntwomen in the business — released a five-minute video titled “Boss Bitch Fight Challenge.” Bell has worked in countless major productions over the years. For years, she doubled for Lucy Lawless on Xena: Warrior Princess. But Bell is perhaps best known for serving as the stunt double for Uma Thurman in the Kill Bill films.

Bell is also an actress as well. Most notably, she played herself in Quentin Tarantino’s 2007 film Death Proof. Bell has also performed behind the scenes stunt work on such hugely successful films such as Iron Man 3 and appeared in four episodes of Lost. So needless to say, few women in the industry know stunt work like her.

Many of the world’s biggest actresses took part

For her new video, Bell produced and directed it herself. And it begins with her sitting around being bored while in self-isolation. Then, realizing she can indeed interact with her friends through space and time, Bell kicks off an epic battle with a series of actresses striking the camera and reacting to the preceding blows.

Thanks to her extensive experience in the business, Bell is able to get a ton of big-name talent to appear. Appropriately enough, Lawless is the first star to show up. But she’s soon joined by the likes of Drew Barrymore, Juliette Lewis, Cameron Diaz, Florence Pugh, Zoe Saldana, Rosie Perez, Halle Berry, Scarlett Johansson, and Margot Robbie.

In addition to many of today’s biggest female superhero stars, Daryl Hannah briefly reprises her Kill Bill role as Elle Driver. Even Bell’s Death Proof co-stars Rosario Dawson and Tracie Thoms show up at one point. Singer KT Tunstall — whose song “The Healer (Redux)” is featured in the video — pops up toward the end too.

Fans loved seeing their favorite stars duke it out

In her Twitter post, Bell enthusiastically presented the finished product. “Here it is…! Kicking lockdown boredom with some of the coolest! Ladies, you are all my hero’s,” she said. And fans loved getting the chance to see Bell throw down with some of her most famous friends.

“My brain hurt when @MargotRobbie used Harley Quinn’s bat. That was so awesome!” one person tweeted. “This is the BEST thing I’ve seen in a while!” another wrote. And that kind of overwhelming positivity was easily the general consensus. Some fans even already started to lobby for a sequel.

“Iconic!! #SarahMichelleGellar #JenniferGarner @LucyLiu #UmaThurman @MRodOfficial #MillaJovovich @CharlizeAfrica #Angelina #SigourneyWeaver in the next one,” one fan tweeted. At this point, it’s unclear if Bell will make another of these stunt videos with your favorite actresses. But her fans are clearly down for more female action heroes.
