It’s been a while since The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 9 aired, and these are the main plot points fans need to remember going into episode 10. “Boukman Batiste” revealed that Red disappeared after Liz’s death. He abandoned his criminal empire, leaving Dembe to try and take over in his absence. While defending Red’s business, Dembe accidentally caused the death of Boukman Baptiste’s son. Baptiste sought revenge in episode 9.
Red continues to investigate the night of Liz’s murder. He comes to the conclusion that someone must have helped Vandyke to find and kill Liz on the evening in question. With this revelation, Red and Dembe finally make up and decide to work together to find this mysterious person. Going into episode 10, it’s also important to remember that Harold Cooper is being blackmailed by an unknown person.
What is ‘The Blacklist’ Season 9 Episode 10 about?
The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 10 is titled “Arcane Wireless.” According to cartermatt.com, NBC’s synopsis reads, “The Task Force’s investigation into Arcane Wireless, an untraceable cellular network for criminals, leads to unexpected consequences. Red races against the clock to get a colleague out of trouble. Fisher Stevens and Aida Turturro guest star.”
Fisher Stevens portrays Marvin Gerard, Raymond Reddington’s associate and shadow counsel. Aida Turturro plays Heddie Hawkins, an accountant who also runs in Red’s circle. Fans are happy that these familiar faces will be returning for episode 10, and they have their own theories about what role these characters will play.
“Based on an audition vid, the colleague who is in trouble should be Heddie,” one Reddit user wrote. “According to the videos that may not be named… Arcane Wireless is actually an FBI surveillance operation so that they can listen in on criminals. Marvin barters the release of this info for Heddie’s release,” another added.
Release date and where to watch episode 10
The Blacklist Season 9 will have a new time slot after the Winter Olympics. Episode 10 will air on Friday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. EST, according to Deadline. So far, NBC has not revealed how many episodes season 9 will consist of. However, The Blacklist typically has 22 episodes per season.
It’s also not clear if season 9 will be the final season of The Blacklist. Things have significantly changed since Megan Boone and Jon Bokenkamp left the show, but NBC has yet to confirm or deny the possibility of season 10.
