‘The Blacklist’ Season 9 Episode 6 Promo Photo Gives a First Look at Blacklister Dr. Roberta Sand Ph.D.
The Blacklist Season 9 finally returns tonight Dec. 9. The series has not released a new episode since before Thanksgiving and fans are itching for more. NBC hasn’t been releasing much in the way of promos for season 9, so for the most part it’s been up to fans to discover what they can. We do know that Enid Graham will be guest starring in tonight’s episode as blacklister Dr. Roberta Sand, Ph.D., and there is a promo photo of the actor in character.
What happened so far in ‘The Blacklist’ Season 9?
So far in The Blacklist Season 9, the FBI task force has been brought back together to hunt down blacklisters in Liz Keen’s memory. Fans learned that Liz’s daughter Agnes Keen has been living with Harold Cooper and his wife. They were also introduced to Red’s new companions, Mierce and Weecha Xui.
Things began to heat up as the season went on. Cooper unravels a dark mystery when the man his wife had an affair with turns up dead. Cooper has no memory of the night it happened and finds a round missing from his service weapon.
The Blacklist Season 9 also introduced Alina Park’s husband Peter. Park has been keeping the fact that she rejoined the task force a secret, but Peter learned the truth after she had a miscarriage in episode 5. Ressler dealt with addiction again at the beginning of the season, though he seems better now. Season 9 has also shown Red and Dembe at odds, now that Dembe is an FBI agent.

So far, The Blacklist Season 9 has introduced some pretty interesting blacklister criminals. Episode 4 introduced “The Avenging Angel,” a woman named Michael who exacts revenge on the wealthy in an attempt to right the wrongs they have done to the less fortunate.
Episode 6 features another interesting female blacklister. Enid Graham guest stars as Dr. Roberta Sand, Ph.D. Graham is an actor who has made guest appearances in some very popular TV shows, including Law & Order, Grey’s Anatomy, and Blue Bloods, according to IMDb. She also played Dawn Bailey in Mare of Easttown.
The synopsis for episode 6 reads, “The Task Force investigates a therapist who may be the key to the resurgence of an organized crime family. Red conducts an investigation of his own,” according to TV Acute.
Promo photos show Roberta Sand in a turtleneck and round glasses sitting across a table from someone. Not much else can be gleaned from the photo, but the task force definitely has an intelligent criminal on their hands.
What time is ‘The Blacklist’ Season 9 on tonight?
The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 6 airs Dec. 9, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. After that, the series will go on break again for the holidays and won’t return with new episodes until 2022. The Blacklist Seasons 1-8 are available for streaming on Netflix for fans who need to get caught up or pass the time until season 9 is back on the air.
