‘The Challenge’: The First Photo of Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols’ Wedding is Here
Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols are well-known from MTV’s The Challenge, and they’ve been planning their wedding for quite some time. While they’ve had their ups and downs on the show, it’s clear they’re prepared to spend the rest of their life together. And the first photo of their small, private wedding was released on Instagram.
Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols had a bumpy road on MTV’s ‘The Challenge’
Jenna and Zach met each other on MTV’s The Challenge, but their relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing. They first connected on Battle of the Exes II, where Jenna joined the 2015 season with her now-ex-boyfriend. Zach and Jenna shared their first kiss that season, and they kept up with each other afterward.
By 2016, the couple’s bumpy relationship was caught on camera, though. While Jenna was competing on The Challenge, she tried to contact Zach at home — and he called her by a different woman’s name. The season reunion then revealed they weren’t together anymore, as Zach was cheating on Jenna. But they reconnected once again and got back together.
Fans felt completely finished with Zach once they saw his behavior on Total Madness, though. While Jenna was competing, Zach requested she come home after accusing her of cheating. This completely threw Jenna’s game off and caused many fans to beg Jenna to leave Zach once and for all. In the end, the couple worked through the issue and are back on track.
Did Jenna and Zach get married? A recent photo shows their small wedding
At the end of 2019, Zach proposed to Jenna in New York City. Jenna said yes, of course, and the couple talked publicly about their wedding since then. Because of coronavirus (COVID-19), Jenna expressed how concerned she was that her big day might not happen.
“Right now, all I’m really worrying about is the wedding because that’s in February and nothing is open, so I’m starting to freak out,” Jenna told Entertainment Weekly. “Our engagement party got pushed to August. So that sucks too.”
It looks like Zach and Jenna tied the knot despite nationwide restrictions, though. Jill Nichols, presumably a family member of Zach’s, posted a photo of Zach and Jenna surrounded by close family in a church. Jenna’s in a beautiful wedding dress, and Zach’s in a tux. All in all, it looks like 15 people in total are present.
“Five turned into 16!” the Instagram photo caption reads. “**If you counted and only got to 15, you’re correct, however, there is a little life brewing in this photo, too.” This, of course, refers to Jenna’s current pregnancy.
Did Jenna leave ‘The Challenge’?
So, is Jenna done with MTV’s The Challenge? It looks like her priority will be with Zach and her child going forward. She’s also mentioned in the past she wants a large family, and that could impede on the show.
“Would you do another Challenge after the wedding?” one fan asked Jenna on Instagram.
“Most likely not,” she answered, “we want six kids, we have a lot of work to do after the wedding.”
As for Zach, we’re not sure what his future plans are, but we’re hoping to see him on future Challenge seasons. We’re sure he’ll have renewed motivation for winning if he comes back and competes.
