Jordan Wiseley and Tori Deal got engaged during ‘The Challenge 34’

In 2017, returning winner Jordan Wiseley and then-rookie Tori Deal met while competing in Dirty 30. Although she entered the show with boyfriend Derrick Henry, she ran the finals with Jordan, and they eventually fell for each other.

Following the season, the two decided to start a relationship and moved in together. She competed in Final Reckoning without him, and then they both returned for War of the Worlds 2.

Realizing her team would keep throwing her into elimination, Tori decided to turncoat and joined the UK squad.

Jordan followed suit, but before switching, he asked his girlfriend to marry him. While she didn’t make it to the last stage in the finals, he did, earning $250,000.

Tori and Jordan broke up following filming for season 36

The engaged couple returned for Total Madness but couldn’t find their footing in an alliance. Therefore, they ended up going home right after one another. The two adopted a cat, and she launched a podcast that he frequently appeared on before she came back for another season, Double Agents.

While the two haven’t specifically addressed why she returned without him, some fans speculated MTV asked him to take a break due to a resurfaced scene from his time on The Real World where he seemingly mocked a Black girl and made racist comments.

After Tori got eliminated from season 36, fans wondered if something happened with her and Jordan because she seemed to have moved out.

Additionally, they photographed her on vacation with co-star Fessy Shafaat. Following a few weeks of speculation, the two revealed they had parted ways in Nov. 2020.

Jordan and Tori seemingly argued about a mug on Instagram

While Tori claimed they realized they needed their “own space,” Jordan admitted the couple couldn’t “escape the pressures that come with being in a very public relationship.” She later briefly touched on the breakup and then dedicated an episode of her podcast to her healing process.

Other than that, the two have kept quiet about their split until they seemingly got into an argument in an Instagram comment section. Tori commented under a Feb. 2021 post of him holding a coffee cup, writing, “that’s my mug.”

He claimed it no longer belonged to her in his response, prompting her to reply, “so you just kick people out and take their s**t, cool.” The three-time champ said, “ain’t nothing in this house yours anymore. You made your bed,” to which Tori replied with several laughing emojis.

While fans couldn’t figure out if the exes were joking or throwing shots at each other, he later deleted his comments. The Challenge 36 airs Wednesdays at 8/7 Central on MTV.
