‘The Challenge’ Season 37: Who’s in the ‘Big Brother’ Alliance? Why Kaycee Clark Wants to Leave It

MTV’s The Challenge Season 37, Spies, Lies, and Allies, is coming soon — and fans can expect feuds, alliances, and hookups aplenty. Last season, we saw the Big Brother crew band together and form an alliance. While the crew had its issues, two alums from the show — Fessy Shafaat and Kaycee Clark — made it to the final. So, who’s in the alliance this season? And why does Kaycee want to leave it all behind?

[Spoiler alert: Spoilers at the end for the winner of MTV’s The Challenge Season 37.]

MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ Season 37 cast contains a number of players from ‘Big Brother’

Much like season 36, MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 has a number of Big Brother players competing for the big money. Josh Martinez, Fessy Shafaat, Amber Borzotra, and Kaycee Clark are all veterans who got their start on Big Brother. And it looks like there are a few international rookies joining the season who also competed on Big Brother in their respective countries. Tacha Akide and Esther Agunbiade played Big Brother Nigeria, and Hughie Maughan played Big Brother U.K.

While The Challenge season 36 only had four players from the reality series, the alliance managed to bring others in at first. Nelson Thomas and Cory Wharton worked closely with Fessy. Unfortunately, Nelson and Cory stopped trusting Fessy after Fessy threw himself in against Nelson in an elimination. We can’t imagine the three of them will work well together in season 37.

As for Amber, it looks like she’ll enter season 37 a bit late. She noted in season 36 feeling on the outs of the Big Brother alliance.

Kaycee Clark wants to leave the ‘Big Brother’ alliance

Will the Big Brother alliance come back strong in MTV’s The Challenge Season 37? We’re interested to see if Kaycee and Fessy continue to work together. They partnered in the season 36 final, but after an injury for Kaycee, Fessy gave up. They were disqualified from the final and left with no money.

“The Big Brother alliance was such a hit last season,” Kaycee said in an interview with MTV. “For what? I have no idea. There are only, literally, four of us. … It just brought so much attention to our alliance.”

Will Kaycee continue to work with the Big Brother crew in Spies, Lies, and Allies? It seems she might not be too interested in following the same path as before.

“I was telling Josh and Fes, let’s dead this Big Brother alliance,” she added. ” … I think a lot of people, it’s easy for them to put a name on our group and call us Big Brother alliance. Nah, we can’t be the center of attention. For my safety in this game, we’re gonna have to throw this Big Brother alliance under the rug.”

So, does Kaycee end up betraying the Big Brother alliance and going her own way in MTV’s The Challenge Season 37? It’s unclear if she sticks with her OG alliance — but it’s clear that whatever she does, it works. Kaycee reportedly makes it all the way to the final and wins for the women.

While we don’t know if Kaycee will remain true to Fessy and Josh, it’s clear she’ll be working with Nany González. Nany and Kaycee are currently dating, and the trailer shows them kissing and getting ultra-close. Having a reliable partner in the competition can get a player far. Additionally, Kaycee has proven she’s a force to be reckoned with in eliminations. We can’t wait to see what she does in Spies, Lies, and Allies and how she gets herself to the end.
