‘The Challenge’ star Tori Deal admits it was a good season ‘to show up single’

During a recent episode of the Watch With Us podcast, Challenge vet Tori Deal said she was ready to have fun. After her split from Jordan Wiseley, she confessed that season 37 was “a good season to show up single.”

“I was going through a lot before I got there. So I just honestly wanted to look at this season and have an amazing time. So for there to be such a hot cast and then also such amazing competitors, it’s really nice to get that balance.”

Tori isn’t spotted in the trailer hooking up with anyone. But the New York native did confirm that she is “just friends” with Fessy Shafaat after they got close during Double Agents.

Amanda Garcia declares ‘it feels good be bad’ with Fessy Shafaat

Fessy did appear in the three-minute super trailer sharing a kiss with Amanda Garcia. Before they lock lips, she tells him “it feels good to be bad though, right?” Another duo that fans spotted smooching in the clip were a couple of rookies — Survivor winner Michelle Fitzgerald and Survivor Romania alum Emmanuel Neagu.

Double Agents winner Amber Borzotra shows up at some point in the season as an alternate because she’s not on the official cast list. But she is spotted cozying up to Love Island alum Jeremiah White.

Nelson Thomas is in a love triangle on ‘The Challenge’ season 37

Going into her 9th season, two-time winner Ashley “Millionaire” Mitchell says that it’s The Challenge‘s fault that she’s single.

“I do the show so often I have to be single because people see me on television. The Challenge ruins my love life. TJ can give me a million dollars, but he can’t get me a boyfriend.”

Ashley was spotted in the super trailer getting cozy with Are You the One? alum Nelson Thomas. But he is apparently involved in a love triangle. Just moments after he tells Ashley, “I don’t like you because of the way you look, I like you because of the way you are,” he’s seen kissing rookie Berna Canbeldek from Survivor Turkey.

Kaycee Clark and Nany González have seemingly confirmed their relationship

The new Spies, Lies, and Allies trailer also shows Kaycee Clark and Nany González sharing a kiss. But eagle-eyed fans already knew these two were an item thanks to a few social media posts. The duo have reportedly been together since filming wrapped.

“Kaycee and I met on Total Madness. We’ve always been allies in the game and have maintained a very good friendship since, but there was always an undeniable connection between the two of us,” Nany told E! News. “I think this upcoming season of The Challenge is where we really explore what that connection is and what it means.”

Cory Wharton is only focused on the game during this season of ‘The Challenge’

Challenge vet Cory Wharton admits that he used to show up at the house looking for a hookup. But now that he’s a father of two, he’s no longer up for any distractions while competing on the show. In the preview for season 37, Cory is seen strategizing while his competitors are focused on showmances.

“When I used to go on the show, I was single. I didn’t have kids, I was like, ‘Who’s going to turn up?’ [And] I had my fun, I was real distracted on the show,” Cory admits. “Now, I go to the show and I feel like I’m locked in. I know why I’m there. … I have a lot of people at home that depend on me. So when I go to The Challenge, I’m clocking into work. I’m away from my family and I’m there focusing and determined.”
