Fans can’t wait to see who’s part of MTV’s The Challenge Season 38 cast. While MTV has yet to make an official announcement about the next season, veteran players are already talking about what they think will come in the future. And recently, a number of veteran players from The Challenge Season 37 cast went on vacation together. Are they solidifying an alliance for the next season?

MTV’s The Challenge Season 38 cast has yet to be officially announced, but spoiler accounts note a number of veterans have already been called to take part in the next season. According to Monsters & Critics, cast availability calls went out by December 2021. This means a number of veterans of past seasons likely know whether or not they’ll join the new season by now.

So, who got a call to join season 38? Spoiler guru PinkRose suggested tons of players from season 37 and previous seasons received calls. This allegedly includes Cara Maria Sorbello and Paulie Calafiore, two past competitors who haven’t competed in a number of seasons.

A few rookie players are also allegedly getting their first calls. Production reportedly called Big Brother 23’s Kyland Young to compete for the first time on the show. Given how many rookies competed during season 37, it’s likely we’ll see a number of rookies once again.

A number of veteran cast members from The Challenge Season 37 might have aspirations to create an alliance as The Challenge Season 38 cast members. Nany González photos on Instagram showing herself, Aneesa Ferreira, Tori Deal, Kaycee Clark, Devin Walker, and Fessy Shafaat vacationing together. Kaycee won Spies, Lies, and Allies, and Devin, Nany, and Tori made the final.

Is this crew gearing up to create another veteran super alliance? It’s certainly possible this group is creating an early plan to dominate the next season. But fans on Reddit think these vets still can’t stop the one player who continues to dominate the competition — CT Tamburello.

“They spend all this time vacationing together and strategizing but they still don’t know how to stop CT,” a Reddit user wrote.

“Voting in the toughest competitor has been a conversation online for like 15 years,” another fan wrote. “It’s happened to Johnny [Devenanzio] and Wes [Bergmann]. But never CT. After all these years. These losers get the numbers and play overly safe. Then lose.”

Filming for the new season is allegedly delayed until March 2022

So, when will fans get to hear about The Challenge Season 38 cast competing for their share of the big money prize? Unfortunately, it seems viewers will have to wait. Spoiler guru PinkRose said filming won’t happen until March 2022.

“[Season] 38 isn’t until March,” Reddit notes PinkRose discovered. “[A]s of now, nobody is for sure, just availability calls have gone out.”

If filming begins in March, fans can expect a release date for the new season by the spring or summer of 2022. The Challenge: All Stars Season 3 will premiere before season 38 of the flagship series.
