Tori Deal started a fight between Fessy Shafaat and Amber Borzotra during ‘The Challenge 37’

After winning last season’s The Challenge: Double Agents, Amber Borzotra returned as Josh Martinez’s partner following Lauren Coogan’s departure.

Still a part of the Big Brother alliance, she had blood with the members as she felt Kaycee Clark and Fessy Shafaat turned on her toward the end of season 36.

Wanting to take the first shot, Fessy quickly blindsided her, upsetting the reigning champ, who continually talked about the situation. Therefore, when Amber became irritated as she believed someone had eaten her pizza, Tori Deal and Cory Wharton created drama.

She told Amber that Fessy ate it, causing the reigning champ to confront her rival. However, it took a turn when she used the situation to address the blindside, annoying others who felt she talked too much about it, resulting in a bigger blow-up.

She names involving Josh Martinez as her biggest regret of the season

When others got riled up, Tori took the opportunity to get Amber’s partner, Josh Martinez, involved, knowing his propensity for allowing his emotions to take over him.

He sided with his teammate and called Fessy out for playing a messy game, claiming the veterans would come for him after the rookies were eliminated. The two began yelling, resulting in security attempting to hold the men back.

At one point, Fessy broke through and pushed Josh’s head, possibly resulting in consequences. Following the episode, Tori spoke about the fight during MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast.

She claimed they only wanted to stir the pot for fun as they were drunk and bored but recognized it went too far. The veteran also admitted she shouldn’t have involved Josh, calling it her biggest regret of the season.

Tori also said the camera crew encouraged her to start the fight

According to the podcast host, she noticed Amber complaining about the pizza and asked Cory and Fessy if she should lie about who ate it to see what would happen.

Although she says Fessy advised against it, the camera guys reportedly “nodded” their heads yes, encouraging her to start the fight. Tori claims the signal meant they wanted a show, so she went along with her plan, not knowing it would eventually cause the blow-up it did.

The veteran recognized how her joke and involving Josh ballooned into a bigger situation and wished she hadn’t gone so far, even though she only wanted drunk “fun” at the time. Although the episode ended on a cliffhanger during the fight, many fans believe Fessy pushing Josh will result in his immediate exit.

A preview did show host T.J. Lavin entering the house, which he usually only does in the case of a medical or behavioral disqualification. The Challenge airs Wednesdays on MTV.
