The Challenge star Wes Bergmann didn’t make the finals for a third straight season because he didn’t have the numbers on his side. However, he worked with UK rookie Olivia “Liv” Jawando, who he feels “got robbed” of the opportunity to go far in the competition due to an injury.

Wes Bergmann returned for his 14th season of ‘The Challenge’

The Real World: Austin star Wes Bergmann debuted on Fresh Meat (2006), where he proved himself a threat by winning five eliminations and placing third as a rookie. He has since competed in four more finals, winning two, for a total of $303,000.

Looking to snap his two-season streak of going home early, he returned for Double Agents. He quickly chose former Survivor winner Natalie Anderson as his partner, but they ended up on the wrong side of the numbers.

The majority of the house wanted to target the bigger threats and voted the duo into elimination, hoping they would send CT home. However, it ended up being a ladies’ day, and Natalie eliminated former winner Ashley Mitchell.

After barely surviving the following week, they were selected by double agents Leroy Garrett and Kaycee Clark to face Devin Walker in elimination, where Wes ultimately lost, becoming the second male eliminated.

Liv Jawando competed on ‘The Challenge 36’ as a rookie

Rookies Olivia “Liv” Jawando and Mechie Harris were almost the last ones to partner. Although the show didn’t highlight it, she and newcomer Amber Martinez have spoken about an unaired love triangle between them.

According to Amber, she flirted with Mechie, and the two shared a kiss that reportedly upset Liv because he claimed to have his romantic feelings for her. Therefore, Liv and Amber decided to confront Mechie, but he insisted he had no feelings for his partner, as she claims he previously said.

As a result, Amber says Liv got embarrassed and threw water on Mechie, which eventually turned into a bigger argument that ended with the UK rookie pouring shampoo on his bed.

Liv refuted a few details of Amber’s story, claiming she threw water on Mechie before he made the remark.

Wes thinks Liv “got robbed”

The players then competed in the Road Kill challenge, where the competitors had to push each other off moving semi-trucks into hanging nets. The UK rookie landed on her arm wrong, injuring it.

During the following episode, before the daily challenge, host TJ Lavin revealed Liv would not return to the competition, leaving Mechie as a rogue agent.

However, he ended up getting paired with Amber because her partner, Nelson Thomas, went home during the next elimination.

Following the episode, Wes took to his Instagram Story to comment on the most recent medical disqualification. He claimed Liv “got robbed” and called her the “greatest rookie contribution I’ve seen in years.”

The two-time champ explained he thought she “had her hands in a ton of cookie jars,” which he feels would have “translated into incredible relevant and important stories.”

Because Liv went home during the fourth episode, she didn’t get much screen time. Many fans also want the British rookie to return for another season. The Challenge 36 airs Wednesdays at 8/7 Central on MTV.
