What we know about Season 4 of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’

The third season of The Handmaid’s Tale ended with June orchestrating the escape of dozens of children from Gilead. While distracting a Guardian to allow others to escape, June is shot.

The season ends with her fate unknown as Alma (Nina Kiri), Janine, (Madeline Brewer), and other Handmaids carry her on a makeshift stretcher.

Based on the Season 4 trailer, fans can expect the new season to be unlike any other. The most recent trailer was filled with action and showed a change in setting.

It appears the new season will primarily take place in Chicago, which is a battlefront on the show. While June is seen wearing her Handmaid’s uniform a few times in the trailer, she is also shown in street clothes while running through war-torn streets.
