The Kardashians React to Malika Haqq Welcoming Her First Baby
Malika Haqq first gained fame as an actress. She’s a close friend of Khloé Kardashian. Because of this, Haqq has appeared on a number of episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Thanks to her appearances on television, Haqq has become a celebrity in her own right. Fans are immensely interested in her personal life. She recently welcomed an adorable baby boy into the world. Her ex-boyfriend, O.T. Genasis, posted a picture of the child on his Instagram.
What we know about Malika Haqq’s first child
Haqq announced her pregnancy in Sept. 2019. She wrote “I have always wanted to be a mother and it’s still a little bit surprising but I’m overjoyed! I’m a very emotional person anyway, but this is another heightening of emotion … I feel really good about where I am in my life being pregnant now.”
Haqq gave birth to a son on March 14, 2020. She did not announce his birth to the world until March 17, 2020. The reasons for her decision are unknown. It’s possible she wanted some privacy.
Haqq’s baby is named Ace Flores. The baby’s father is Haqq’s ex-boyfriend, rapper O.T. Genasis, who was born Odis Oliver Flores. Genasis is primarily known for his viral hit song “CoCo,” which details his love of cocaine. So far, Genasis is a one-hit-wonder, though it’s totally possible the publicity surrounding him now could propel him back onto the charts.
Reacting to his son’s birth, Genasis posted “Ace. I love you 03.14.20.” Cosmopolitan reported Haqq and Genasis are both ecstatic to be raising their newborn son together. Ace is Haqq’s first child and Genasis’ second after his son, Genasis Flores, whose name mirrors his father’s stage name. Genasis’ oldest son is currently nine years old.
The Kardashians react to Ace Flores’ birth
Khloé Kardashian reacted to Flores’ birth.“My beautiful beautiful nephew!!!! Ace, we have been waiting for you.” Kardashian has no biological relationship to the child. It appears she feels so close to Haqq she’s willing to call Haqq’s son her “nephew.”
A source told People “Khloé has been FaceTiming with Malika and her baby, but she hasn’t seen them in person. With everything going on, the priority is, of course, to keep both Malika and her boy healthy. Everyone, including Kylie and Kourtney, sent gifts. They all hope they are able to meet the baby in person soon.”
Speaking of Haqq’s son, Kim Kardashian West wrote “He’s perfect!!!! We can’t wait to meet him! Love you so much!!!” Kendall and Kylie Jenner also expressed excitement over the prospect of meeting the newborn Flores. The Kardashian family getting to see this infant for the first time could make for an adorable episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The world will wait with baited breath for that episode to air.
