The Kids in Adam Driver’s Apartment Building Wish ‘Kylo Ren’ a Good Morning Every Day
He acted in HBO’s Girls and a Broadway production of Burn This. Perhaps what Adam Driver is best known for, though, is acting as Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. In fact, even the children from his apartment building call him by his character’s name.

Sure, Luke Skywalker destroyed the Empire and brought his father back to the light. However, that wasn’t the end of the story. A new regime rose up, as did the force wielding character, Ben Solo, who went by the name Kylo Ren.
As the ruthless leader of the First Order, Kylo Ren was willing to do whatever it takes to have the power of the Dark Side, even kill his father.
Eventually, though, Rey sees the good in this character, bringing him back to the Light in the final movie of the sequel trilogy. Thanks to the Star Wars movies, this actor gets recognized by kids pretty frequently.
Adam Driver shared how kids react to seeing him
While doing an interview with SAG-AFTRA Foundation, the Star Wars actor was asked about kids’ reactions to seeing him. Because he lives in an apartment building with his family, he runs into kids pretty frequently.
“It’s mostly good, I have a lot of kids in my building, that’s really fun,” Adam Driver, who lives in New York, said.
“They’re probably super respectful,” the host said.
“No, they like it,” Adam Driver continued. “They’re always like ‘good morning, Kylo Ren.’ I’m like, ‘morning. Kylo needs his coffee, just give me a second.’”
What else has Adam Driver acted in?
Since Adam Driver’s appearance in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ the actor branched off to work on a number of different acting-related projects. He earned a Tony nomination for his appearance in the Broadway production of Burn This.
He earned an Academy Award nomination for his role as “Flip” in the crime/drama film, BlacKkKlansman. Additionally, he earned another nomination, for Best Actor in a Leading Role, for his role in the Netflix original movie, Marriage Story.
He returned to the Star Wars universe to reprise his role as Kylo Ren for movies like The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. With the sequel trilogy coming to a close, however, fans have presumably seen the last of Ben Solo.
When he’s not acting, though, Driver is a father, husband, and the owner of a dog named Moose. According to NME, this actor is “in talks” to appear in a movie alongside Lady Gaga, titled “Gucci.” Presumably, more information regarding his role will be announced in the coming months.
