Broadway is the theatre capital of the United States and one of the biggest theatre destinations worldwide.

Broadway, the street that runs the length of Manhattan, has been synonymous with theatre since 1735 when the first theatre was built on the street. Broadway has also become closely associated with American musicals and musical theatre in general.
