The NBC series The Office is considered one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. Making superstars out of Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, and Ed Helms, many of the cast members are in high demand thanks to the infamous comedy show.

With Krasinski’s directing projects and Carell’s many top-billed roles, it may be a tough guess as to who has the bigger bank account.

Michael Scott and Jim Halpert Reunion

Krasinski launched his online show Some Good News to lighten people’s spirits amidst the coronavirus crisis. When he brought on his pal and former co-star Carell in April as an ‘entertainment correspondent,’ fans were thrilled to witness the mini reunion. The two discussed being a part of The Office and noted the show’s 15-year anniversary.

“I was a waiter when I got that job,” Krasinski said of his Office role, according to CNN. “I was 23 years old, I was a waiter and after the pilot I went back to waiting tables ’cause I was sure nothing was going to happen with it.”

Carell laughed at Krasinski’s comment and added his gratitude that the show still resonates with fans. “It’s such a happy surprise that after all these years people are still tuning in and finding it even today,” Carell said. “It’s pretty cool. Some of my most fond memories, personally or professionally, are entwined and connected with that show.”

With rumors of a reboot constantly being bandied about, Krasinski addressed the topic without giving a definitive answer. “Listen, I know everybody’s talking about a reunion,” the director said. “Hopefully one day we just get to reunite as people. And just all get to say hi.”

John Krasinski hits it big with ‘A Quiet Place’

While Krasinski will most likely always be known as the lovable Jim Halpert from Dunder Mifflin, the former Office star has established himself as a top Hollywood director. According to IMDb, Krasinski’s first try in the director’s chair was with his 2009 film Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, followed by The Hollars in 2016.

Serving as writer, director, and lead in the 2018 blockbuster A Quiet Place along with his wife Emily Blunt, Krasinski proved he could successfully call the shots and also star in them. The horror film was a box office hit and had one of the biggest opening weekends for the genre.

Krasinski also has a list of acting credits to his name, including Jarhead, License to Wed, and 13 Hours.

Celebrity Net Worth reports Krasinski’s total as $30 Million for 2020.

Steve Carell created a legend in Michael Scott

Before The Office, Carell was a mainstay on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, as reported by IMDb. Yet when he debuted on the NBC sitcom, he soon became one of America’s most infamous bosses.

Landing the title role in the 2005 film The 40-Year-Old Virgin at the same time The Office was finding its footing, Carell’s success in the movie helped catapult the sitcom’s visibility and further his celebrity status. He soon became the top pick for movie studios, starring in a plethora of flicks including Little Miss Sunshine, Evan Almighty, Get Smart, and Date Night.
