Ree Drummond is the wholesome host of The Pioneer Woman. The Food Network star is one of the big celebrity cooks from the entity and fans can’t get enough of her. Lucky for viewers, Drummond is the host of a holiday special called Christmas Cookie Challenge and the star is overjoyed with the premiere of the new season. Drummond recently made a confession about the show that she hopes doesn’t limit her career opportunities.

The holidays are fast approaching and that could only mean one thing on the Food Network — Christmas programming. Drummond is returning to host a new season of Christmas Cookie Challenge alongside Chef Eddie Jackson. The spirit of holidays is taking over the network with fun-filled challenges and the sweetness of baking cookies. Drummond promoted the premiere of the show on Instagram and made a revelation about hosting the show that she hopes won’t limit any future opportunities.

“I don’t want to limit my career opportunities or anything, but I’m just gonna say (write?) out loud what I’m thinking: I don’t think I could ever be a part of any other food competition show on TV,” Drummond wrote on Instagram. “Christmas Cookie Challenge is my jam, [Chef Eddie Jackson] is the greatest co-host of all time, and I swear we have the coolest contestants! And there are just good holiday vibes everywhere you turn.”

Drummond continued, “The cookies, the creativity, and the laughs are abundant! Thank you to Food Network for making this great show, and remember not to call and offer me any other competition shows!! Okay Ree, you can stop talking now.”

Fans show support to ‘The Pioneer Woman’ star

Drummond has an amazing fan base that always supports all the ventures she takes part in. Christmas Cookie Challenge was not the exception and after The Pioneer Woman star promoted her new competition show, fans were quick to share their support.

The Real Housewives of Dallas star, D’Andra Simmons, was one of the first ones to comment saying, “I love this show and YOU! Keep doing amazing things.”

“I’m so flipping excited!!!!!!!!! This is my favorite time of year, watching people bake amazing cookies, and wishing I had an ounce of decorative talent. Using your kitchen items makes me feel a little better about myself!” a fan replied.

“I have been waiting ALL YEAR for this! I am so glad you’re on this again!” a follower added.
